Chapter 10: Radio

Now this is the first chapter for the 1000 views marathon. Since I'm here I just want to take the time to thank you for reading my book. That's it!

(Mike's POV) I went towards the exit and there was a lock on it. There was a gun on the floor. I grabbed it and shot the lock. It broke. I went through it and saw that I was in like a church room. There was one exception. There was stairs going down in the middle of the room. I went down it. Once I reached the bottom it looked like I was in another boiler room. There was a hall though. I went through the hole and it was a dead end. I looked on my left and saw a gate with a bunch of barrels blocking it. I pushed a few barrels over and went to shoot the lock. BANG! A few sparks fell from the shot. I opened the door and there was some more barrels inside. Except it had a label. 'Flammable liquid'. 'Oh shit' I whispered. I ran towards the exit and explosion pushed me.

(Matt's POV) I went down the mountain and towards the cable car station. 'I can't believe Josh is dead...' Emily sobbed. 'We should've checked to see if he was actually dead' I said quickly. 'Do you want him to be dead?' Emily asked hysterically. 'Of course not' I replied quickly. Emily went to open the door but stopped. 'There's an axe on the door' she said. I pried the axe out. Then Emily went to open the door. 'Its locked' she said. I didn't reply. I pushed Emily out of the way and began slashing at the door. It finally creaked open. 'The killer might of heard us' she whispered. That was a thought. I looked at the cable car. 'The cable car is way to far for us to go in, we can't even jump' I said. 'Maybe the control room has some buttons we can pull to get it closer' she replied. We went inside the control room and it looked like a hurricane had passed through. 'We were just here, it must have just happend' she said so quietly. There was a map on the wall. I looked at it. 'Hey there is a fire tower not far from the cable car station'. 'Matt, focus on the cable car' she said fiercely. I looked down at the control panel. 'It needs the master keys' I said as my heart dropped. 'There must be another way' she persisted. We went out of the control room. I noticed a ledge. I indicated it to Emily. She nodded. She jumped down with me behind her. We shimmied towards the end of the ledge. We side stepped to the left. And turned left. As we shimmied back up to the mountain. 'Thank god' she said as we made our way up the mountain and over the bridge. We could see some trees so we headed that way. As we made our way towards the end of the mountain it looked like the start of a bridge but it didn't go on. I turned back and heard the sound of hooves moving. I saw a lot of deers surround us.
