Chapter 12: Vengeance

The final chapter ;(

(Emily's POV) 'Oh my god!' I yell. 'Stay calm' Matt instructs. I take a deep breath. Wait a minute, Matt was holding a axe. Oh no! 'Matt what ever you do, do not hurt the deer' I say faintly. Either he couldn't hear or he ignored me. He went through the deer, the deer seemed frightened of him and moved back. 'Come on Em' he says. I follow him and we escape the deer. We walked up the mountain. 'What happens if we don't get anyone in the fire tower' I sob. 'We will' he says reassuringly. 'But what if...'. 'No, no what ifs' he replies. We went to the top of the mountain and saw the fire tower. As we reached up a light flashed on. 'Motion sensor...' I hear Matt mutter. We went up the stairs to the fire tower. This was the first floor. There was a ladder that led up. I went up to the second floor. I heard Matt drop his axe onto the floor and went up the ladder. I kept going up. A bunch of wind sweeps over the watch tower. There was a door above me so I pushed it open and went up. 'Ok... Ok' I said. Once Matt had come up he shut the trap door behind him. I looked around, there was a lot of tables. On one of the tables there was a printer with a button that was labeled 'print'. I pressed it and nothing happend. 'No power... Great' I hear Matt mutter sarcastically. There was a door to the outside. I opened it and saw a fuse box and another box that was labeled 'Emergency Flare'. I opened the emergency flare box and too out the gun. I handed it to Matt and he shot at the sky. Next I opened the fuse box and pressed a button. I went back inside and saw that the printer was flashing green. I went over to the radio on the other table. I turned the knob to the channel that said 'Hello... Hello, Black Wood Rangers, over'. I pressed the button on the microphone. 'My name is Emily' I stopped my pretence of calm. 'PLEASE HELP US, THERE IS A MANIAC UP HERE ON THESE MOUNTAINS!!' I scream through the microphone. He doesn't reply. 'Okay, we will send a helicopter at dawn to pick you up' he says calmly. Someone was pounding at the door above the ladder. 'Oh no he's here' I yell. Then the fire tower starts tilting forwards and I fall onto the glass. Then the fire tower gets buried into the ground.

(Matt's POV) Jesus Christ. 'Matt?' I hear Emily call out. I look outside and see Emily holding on for dear life at a wire. I hold my hand out and Emily reaches for my hand. The fire tower starts going down a little bit more. I reached down once more. The fire tower finally starts breaking and Emily falls off. I jump to safety as the fire tower goes down. I stand up and look around. I was in a room with hooks and mini cages.
