Not your ordinary superhero

Chapter six

"You didn't think it would be that easy, did you? We know all about you, Alice." Bob says with a sly grin.

"That's not my name." I spit out through clenched teeth.

"Oh really? That's not what our records say. Apparently, Alice, you have been hiding a few secrets. I don't mean your powers, we know all of them. I mean the fact that your family is way more interesting than you say."

"What do you mean? My name is Elizabeth Taylor. My family travels around the world filming movies and taking pictures. I'm not hiding anything!"

"You mean to tell me you don't know? Men, she doesn't know!" He starts laughing and laughter from all around me follows.

Men dressed in black start walking towards me from their hiding places in the woods. I can't help but roll my eyes at how cliché they are. I guess they caught they eye roll because a man walks over with an evil expression and slams a taser into my side.

I cry out and fall to the floor, earning laughter from the men.

"What is wrong with you?" I cry out.

As if someone flipped a switch, the laughter stops.

"What's wrong with us? What's wrong with us! There is nothing wrong with us! We are simply ridding the streets of pests like you. You didn't think you were the only one, did you?" Bob says with a snear.

"No."

"Yes."

No!" I yell out. "I searched everywhere! There is no others like me!"

"You're right. There is none. They're all dead. We killed them."

"You monsters."

"Nope." He says with a smile. "Not monsters. We're, oh how should I say it? Cleaners? Yes, cleaners. We're the professional cleaning company of the country."

"Who are you?"

"Me? That's not important. Us? Well, we're the SK, the Super Killers. I don't like name but can we change it? No, cause the boss likes it!" He says, drawing out the 'no'.

"Anyway, now that you're nice and scared, let's go on a trip. Soldiers! Grab her." He orders and three soldiers advance towards me.

They take the net off and start to put on a bracelet, probably to cut me off from my powers, when I loud bark rolls through the air. Kansas!

Everyone stops and the wind starts blowing faster and faster. Kansas is running around and around in circles creating a cyclone of wind. All of the soldiers are knocked down by the force and the bracelet and net fall to the ground. Energy surges through me and I jump straight up into the air and slam back down, shooting electricity at all the soldiers. I don't kill them of course, but they all pass out from the shock.

I turn a branch laying around into a long rope and then I tie everyone up with my mind. To have a little fun, I turn a bunch of pebbles into purple hair dye bottles and put it in their hair. Let's call it my signature.

I'm not a mean person, I only did that in self defense. They're all probably going to be hungry and hurt when they wake up so I start making platters of burgers with my favorite power, the food power, and turn some rocks into pain reliever and a pair of scissors for the rope. I'm hoping that if I'm nice enough they'll forget about me. It's probably not going to work once they see their hair though.

"Kansas!" I call out.

He comes racing over to me with his tongue hanging out.

"You okay E?" He asks.

"I'm fine. Let's go home."

"We can't."

"Why not?" I ask, confused.

"It's not there. They burnt it down Liz."

Finally, and action scene! What do you think? I want her powers so badly. Can you imagine how much fun that would be?! She can make burgers appear! Burgers!

Are you guys seeing numbers and such through it too? I was reading it to a family member and there was numbers throughout it.
