Within two weeks, Gerard Way had changed himself, his life, and his school. People respected him, well, sort of. They stayed out of his way, not daring to speak with him for fear that he would, in fact, seduce them. In addition, over 15 people in his school claimed to have slept with him, having said it was the best sex they had ever had. Everyone knew of Gerard, and everyone knew every single story about him. They avoided him now, talked behind his back, but hell, they knew his name. He was a common topic of chat, even though he rarely even talked to people. No one remembered who he was before, only this new persona he had taken on, but no one cared to know who he used to be anyway. It didn't matter; that Gerard was gone.

-

Gerard waved as Pete came to the door to get Mikey before they started walking to school. Gerard didn't drive them anymore, he loved his brother, and because of that, he didn't drive them anymore. If he did, someone at the school would see, and lord knows that rumors of what the three had been up to would spread- and Gerard wouldn't stand for that. This was his life, and he didn't need to fuck up anyone else's in the process.

Pete smiled, waving back with his left hand as he took Mikey's hand in his right. They turned and left, Gerard smirking to himself. The two were practically made for each other. After all, they were pretty sweet little dudes.

Gerard looked at the shut door for a moment before turning and heading up to his bathroom. He didn't have to leave for around another hour, being as it was a short drive to the school and he did not plan on getting there any sooner than two minutes before the bell for class rang.

He rifled through the cabinet in his bathroom, looking for some sort of mousse for his hair when he caught sight of something he hadn't seen since Halloween last year, when his brother had talked him out of it. Well, Mikey wasn't here now, and there was no one around to stop Gerard Way from going completely overboard.

-

Gerard ran a towel over his shaggy hair, smiling as he glanced in the mirror. Red. It was perfect.

He ran a hand through his hair one last time before throwing on a pair of dark grey skinnies, combat boots, a loose tank tøp, and his red white and blue leather jacket. His hair matched, and he knew he looked fucking badass.

He made his way downstairs, shutting the goddamn door behind him and climbing into his car. He pulled out, rolling all the windows down and blasting 'Breadfan' by Metallica. He checked the clock, sighing as he realized he would probably end up being a few minutes late to his first period.

He walked in, seeing only empty halls and a few janitors. Fuck. He headed towards the main office, smiling as the secretary 'Judy', as her tag read, handed him his late pass. He trotted down the hall to the art pod, already dreading having to have all eyes on him as he walked in.

He made it to Miss Jackson's room, taking a breath before swinging the door open and strutting to the front of the room. He felt everyone's eyes on him, watching his every move. Hell, he even heard one kid gasp- most likely at his new hairdo. He rolled his eyes in irritation as his teacher checked him in, gesturing towards his table, which he had always had to himself. Until today.

A boy sat in the chair next to Gerard's usual seat, an unsure look on his face. He was new, Gerard could tell that much, but there was something else about him. He shrugged it off, walking toward the boy, smirking as he saw what he presumed to be a small amount of fear in his eyes. Gerard sat, making sure it was obvious as he gave the new kid a once over- he was attractive. Black hair that hung a bit in his face, hazel eyes, black jeans and converse, and, to Gerard's delight, a 'Smith's' shirt. "Gerard Way, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," Gerard smirked, extending his hand.

"Uh- Frank. Frank Iero. I'm new." The dark haired boy, Frank, shook Gerard's hand, a look of skepticism on his face.

"I know..." Gerard chuckled before turning back to the front of the room. This could be fun.

-

Gerard and Frank hadn't exchanged many words after that, merely a nod of the head after the bell rung and the two parted ways, only to realize that they did, in fact, have the next period together as well.

"We meet again, Iero..." Gerard stated, flawlessly pronouncing the new kids last name.

"Wha- oh... Hey." Frank replied, somewhat surprised that the near stranger had managed to both remember and correctly pronounce his name.

The two sat in the back of the class, quietly exchanging snide comments about other students with a bit of flirting. Frank was thankful to have met a person who didn't totally suck, even if he did seem to have an ego bigger than his hair. Gerard was simply thankful that he had someone to talk to that hadn't yet heard the rumors, that he could just talk with. However, things don't tend to last long.

-

Frank wasn't in Gerard's third, fourth, or fifth period. But, when sixth rolled around, Frank avoided him. Wouldn't even look his way. Gerard knew he heard the rumors, and that was alright. He'd had a friend for two hours, and it was nice. But, just like seasons change, so had Franks knowledge of Gerard. It was nice while it lasted, though.

Gerard made it through the rest of the day, never sparing a glance in the shorter boys direction. It didn't matter, Frank didn't matter. He was just some new kid who he had exchanged a few comments with. Nothing more, and it was apparent that that was how it would stay.
