18- POV Kevin

I climb into my bunk, smirking. What's Kirstie and Avi's ship name? Ugh, I'm so new to this.

There's no way I'm going to fall back asleep so I open up Wattpad. I scroll through the recommended fanfiction and come across one shots with Kirstie and Avi on the cover. It's called "Moments of Kavi."

So that's what their ship name is. I open up the one shots and start reading.

It's really weird reading fanfictions about people you know. I feel really awkward and almost evil, since they are my best friends and it's like I'm looking into their private life, but I'm too addicted to stop.

After everything I've seen with Kirstie and Avi lately, I definitly ship them more than Scömíche, who hasn't talked since the movie.

While reading the stories, I practically die thinking about how cute some of this fluff would be in real life. I love fluff! But I do stay away from smut because that's super awkward. I hate when people write that.

After reading for a few hours, I hear someone shuffling around outside my bunk. Poking my head out, I see Esther sitting on the couch, pulling out a book.

I check the time and see that it's 6:30, so I go out to join her.

"Hey!" I whisper, as to not wake the others.

"Hey," She looks up from her book.

"Whatcha reading?"

"The Scorch Trials," She responds. "It's the second book in the Maze Runner Trilogy."

"Ah, good book," I nod.

"Yeah, I think the movie's coming out later this year, so I thought I should read it first. So, what have you been reading lately?"

Uh, oh. I can't really tell her what I've been reading for the past three hours, can I?

Oh, yeah! You know, just reading these super cute fanfictions about your little brother and our best friend Kirstie! Don't you agree that they should totally date?

I almost laugh thinking about that, but I catch myself first.

"Yeah," I respond awkwardly. "I've just been, um... trying out some romance novels..."

I let out a sigh as she nods and goes back to reading her book.

I fall asleep for an hour on the couch next to Esther before Mitch comes out to join us.

He puts his finger over his lips and motions us to follow him. Esther and I make eye contact before standing up, tiptoeing to the bunks. He pulls back the curtain to Avi's bunk to see both Avi and Kirstie laying against each other, asleep.

I hear a quick high pitched squeal, and at first think it was Mitch. But then I realize it was me, letting out a little bit of my inner fangirl. I can literally feel my insides about to busy open at the cuteness of the scene before me. Avi is laying streched out against the wall, with his leg propped up on a pillow. Kirstie is curled up in a little ball next to him, one of her feet almost off the bed. Her head is resting on Avi's chest as she sleeps.

I look over at Mitch who mouths 'I ship it' to me, while Esther stands oblivious, staring at the bed.

I wiggle my eyebrows and nod my head back to the couch for Mitch to follow. Pulling out my phone, I open up Wattpad and show my library to him.

"So do I," I whisper.
