"Hey Mitchie," I say next to Mitch as he slowly opens his eyes.

We let him and Avi sleep the rest of the night at the hospital, and the crew that were with them brought them back to the hotel early this morning to get some more sleep. We need to get on the tour bus in a half hour though to make sure we get to Connecticut with time to spare before tonight's show. I have no idea what we're going to do tonight, but I do know that I don't want Mitch performing.

Mitch sits up and gives me a solumn smile taking the glass of water that I hand him.

"We're going to the bus whenever you're ready," I tell him.

He nods looking down at the glass in his hands and we sit there in silence. Normally I don't find silence that awkward with people I know well, especially Mitch; however, I'm sure you can imagine how awkward this is.

"So, do you want to talk about what happened?" I ask trying to break the silence.

Yesterday at the airport, he seemed surprised that I saved him, and it sounded like he might try and do something harmful again. I'm scared for him. I want to know what's happening. Was Kirstie right, did I take to long to decide?

Mitch just shakes his head and stands up grabbing his three bags and heads to the door of the hotel room.

"Mitch wait," I stop him before he leaves and he looks over his shoulder. "Can we please talk about it tonight after the concert?"

I need to make sure nothing happens again. I need Mitch.

He sighs and turns back toward the door so I stare at his back. He gives me a small nod--almost too small to notice-- and walks out.

"So what are we going to do tonight?" Kirstie asks sitting down across from Kevin and I. We're on the tour bus, driving to Connecticut.

I shrug, "We can't just not perform!"

"Right but Avi and Mitchie are NOT performing," She responds.

"Says who!" Avi yells from his bunk.

He and Mitch are supposed to get more sleep, but they've been sleeping all day. I don't think Mitch wants to come out if his room and we've banished Avi to his. We can't have him hurt himself again.

"Says your girlfriend. And the rest of the band!" Kirstie yells back.

"Maybe we could sing a couple of the big songs-- the simpler ones-- and then just do another meet and greet?" Kevin suggests.

I sigh and shrug, "Sure."

Kirstin nods too.

I don't like the idea of doing a meet and greet every night because we're exhausted after last night but I guess its the best solution.

"Can't I at least do the meet greet?" Avi yells again, obviously still listening.

Kevin shrug then yells back, "I don't see why not, we'll be sitting down. Mitch, you can too if you're feeling up for it."

We don't get a response from him so he probably has his earbuds in.

"I'm going to go get some Zs" Kirstie says and stands up.

Kevin nods and stands up also following her to their bunks. I just lay down on the couch to rest for a couple hours until we get to the arena.
