Dipcifica Cipher games

Chapter 5

Dippers POV

It was time to go my family is already back in their homes and I was accompanied by a group of soldiers to a bus where I would be transported to the main room of the Cipher games tournament where everybody who competes get's a chance to get a sponsor that will help you during the tournament bus.

When I entered the bus the soldiers left me and there I saw Pacifica Northwest and my Grunkle Stan waiting for me in the bus "What are you doing" I asked. "Yeeesh kid I'm your mentor everybody's gotta have one" he  replied. Just after that sentence the bus started moving and the doors started closing. "We passed the point of no return" My Grunkle Stan said gravely. "Now go to sleep we have a long day ahead of us" My Grunkle Stan said as he was getting ready to sleep on the couch. Me and Pacifica share a room with two beds. But before I went to bed I heard her say to me "The second that we enter the main room do whatever it takes to get those sponsors" after that we both went to sleep. I was dreaming about my friends back in district and about how I said to my sister before we left "I promise to win for you". I heard that phrase the entire dream just before a bright light and a loud noise appeared right in front of my face and I realized it was breakfast time. I woke up got dressed and went to the dining room where I found my Grunkle Stan and Pacifica waiting for me. "You wake up that late next time and you'll be dead" He said. "Morning" to you to I said than I asked him "So what should you do the first thing you're in the ring". "Run" he said "The weapons are a bloodbath so just take what you can and just run for the hills". "Anything else" I said "Yeah, trust no one spare no one, everybody there is an enemy". With that I looked at Pacifica while she was staring at me and moved myself and my chair  a short distance from her. She eventually did the same.

TIME  SKIP

After breakfast me and Pacifica just sat down in opposite locations of each other and just stare out the window in a awkward silence. I eventually broke the ice and said "So what did your parents say in the room" she just stared at me for awhile and replied "They just normally tell me to win or die but this time they just say good luck". "Whoa" I said in disbelief "Yeah whoa" she replied giving me a fake smile. "So what's your story farmboy" She said I gave her a reply that I think she would like to forget I said "My dad died in the last Cipher games my grunkle won the Cipher game but he just ended up being the grumpy old man you see before you and now I have a twin and a mother that's heartbroken thinking that I will die in the Cipher games but I'm beginning to think she was right". She just gave me a sad face for the next 45 minutes before I heard my distressed Grunkle burst into the room where me and Pacifica were sitting and said "we're here".
