Chapter 11/Finale/ Authors first note

Dippers POV

I woke up seeing that I had my arm around Pacifica "she looks cute" I thought to myself so I carefully lifted  my arm off Pacifica and noticed that my injury were healed very well within a day's time. So I walked and went outside the cave and started looking for food I found a few fish wrapped my my jacket around it and went back to the cave. "What's better than breakfast in bed." I thought to myself.  I saw Pacifica waking up and said "Breakfast in bed sweetheart." upon hearing that she playfully punched my arm. We ate breakfast and we decided to take a walk out the cave. While we were walking we saw Robbie and Nate looking for us. I whispered to Pacifica you take Nate I take Robbie. We both drawed back our bows aimed and fire. The arrows went perfectly straight I knew Pacifica was a good archer but that was an amazing shot. Both arrows hit both targets in the skull we looted the bodies and made our way back to the cave before we went back we saw the "Dead Wall" we first heard a Bang and realized that Gideon isn't dead and still walking. I decided that Pacifica should take a nap while I take first shift. When she woke up it was midnight I was tired but we knew Gideon would be going after the supplies so we made our way there to kill him. On the way I heard a scream and then I saw Grenda's picture on the "Dead Wall" and then I saw a hound coming for us. I grabbed Pacifica by the arm and made a run for it. We saw the center cache up ahead and climbed the roof around me I saw three of those blood thirsty bastards. Before I could catch my breath I saw Gideon bleeding, tired, and injured I was about to kill him where he stands but he was using Pacifica as a human shield. She dropped her bow and I quickly dropped my weapons and raised my hands all he could say was "Drop the journal I know you have it" so I carefully put my journal right next to the bow and in a instant I grabbed the bow and shot Gideon's shoulder he quickly let Pacifica go and she said in a almost loving tone 'You may have the honors." Upon hearing that I uppercut Gideon's face into the three hounds. He was begging me to kill him so I granted his wish. The hounds left then a voice said  "Congratulations you two are the winners of this year's Cipher games but only one of you will live to walk another day." Knowing they change the rules I said "Let's end this.""Agreed" she said crying a tear after I wiped it we both got down from the metal structure, stood away from each other taking a dagger and pointing it towards our hearts. We counted down 3...2..."Wait" a voice exclaimed "The rules are back to normal you both live to walk another day please wait until tomorrow morning to be picked up." With that the cameras shut down and we both dropped our daggers. I don't know if she's crazy or not but Pacifica just came and hugged me to the ground and said "So farmboy what are we gonna do now." "Let's just let things go back to normal" I said with a smile. "Where's the fun in that."she said  just before kissing me. After the kiss she stood there saying "Thanks" "Anytime" I said. When the plane picked us tomorrow we just stood in front holding hands. During the plane ride I heard Bud got mysteriously shot by an arrow and was declared decease. When we arrive the district was cheering for us and Mabel just rushed me and said "So who's your new girlfriend" After she said that we just blushed and visit our families and had fun not knowing what's gonna come next but we'll be ready.
