Chapter 10

Dippers POV

It has been one day after I have been saved by Candy I made a bow and a few arrows during my spare time but that changed when one day Candy told me the location of Gideon's group supply. She said they made the supplies into a pyramid and planted mines around them.But she also said that there were a few other resource caches around the arena. So me and Candy had an agreement I would go and destroy the pyramid while Candy goes and raid the other caches. Upon hearing that I asked nervously "What if one of us is done raiding or been captured." She then showed me a trick of hers she whistled in a tune that scares away the nearby birds I quickly copied the tune and decided it would act as an emergency flair. Knowing that I made my way to the pyramid and Candy for the supplies. When I arrived there I saw two people a guard and a girl who wants to take the supplies. I wouldn't want to give up my element of surprise and the girl is in no condition to fight but then the girl threw a rock near the guard and the guard check for the noise and she carefully made her way across the mines and took something from the pyramid. I noticed that this was my chance so I grabbed my bow aimed for a bag of apple and shot the the end of the bag. The apples came tumbling down and hit the mines. The mine exploded and the pyramid of supplies burned to the ground. I was about to make my way back to base when I noticed that Candy used the emergency signal I told her to so I went to help her instead. When I arrived to her location I noticed that she was caught in a net trap. I quickly cut her down with my machete and I helped her up. Just when we were about to depart I saw the guard from the supply pyramid and he threw a spear at me. I quickly evaded the spear and shot the guard with my bow I quickly looked over at Candy who was pulling a spear out of her chest. She quickly blacked out and the next thing I knew she was dead.

I gave her a burial and decided to raid the center cache where the best resources are located. When I arrived I saw Tambry holding a knife waiting for me. She came at me holding me down towards a wall about to stab me. But then a girl I saw with Candy named Grenda saved my life and took the knife from Tambry and stabbed her in the chest. I quickly caught my breath and saw that the girl who saved me left running saying "That was for Candy pine tree." And with that I took a bunch of arrows and some other essentials and made a run for it. After I got my supplies I decided this was too bloody even for me so I decided to escape the Cipher game arena (man what a mistake that was bro). I went to the far end of the arena and the game managers decided I was going too far so they prepared a few traps for me. I knew the game managers thought I went too far, but I only new this when a fireball came out of nowhere and shot my right shoulder. I made my back making a run for it but my injury got in the way and I tripped on something and I fell down to a hidden cave which I accidently discovered and fell down to the bottom of the cave and got stuck there with a sprained ankle.

Pacificas POV

"This is enough" I thought to myself the rest of the group was sleeping it was night time I took the journal from my bag and went off to find Dipper. I kept running hoping I don't fight anybody on the way but then I saw a huge screen on the dome with writing that says "Mourn the Dead" after I read that the dome showed me images and one of them was the boy I killed and I quickly realized that this is a list of the people who died. After a brief stop I kept running until I tripped and fell into a hidden cave. There was a brief silence broken when I heard a tired grunt saying "Could you get off me" I quickly got off noticing the voice was Dippers. I saw him and noticed that he had a broken ankle a burned shoulder and blood oozing from his mouth. I quickly got a few bandages from my bag and fixed him. He thanked me and when he was strong enough to listen I gave him his journal. He thanked me again. He then nudge his head to a hidden camera in the cave and whispered "Showtime." And with that I said "So what's with that corny stuff you said back in the interview room." "I only say the truth and the truth is I Iove you." And with that I said "Well farmboy I guess I love you too." And with that I grabbed his head and pull it towards mine and I kissed him. After that I went outside to get some food and water for Dipper and me . I went outside just in time to see a small container with a parachute and I quickly went towards a tree to see the parachute getting tangled on a tree branch. I quickly climbed the tree got the container and opening in it was some kinda of medicine and a note that says "Well played, and tell my nephew I said hi." the note was signed by Grunkle Stan. I quickly got back and put the medicine on Dipper's injured spot. And with that we decided it was time to sleep but before we slept we heard a voice coming from the dome saying "Due to heavy complaints and angry mobs we decided to select two champion from the same district if they survive."we felt so relieved but Dipper was so tired he slept first. I slept right next to Dipper with his arm around me. I knew it was a trick to get sponsors but I hate to admit it but it felt nice and with that I took a nap and waited for the next day.
