Chapter 9

Dippers POV

It was time I woke up changed my clothes had breakfast and head to the hangar for transportation to the Cipher games arena. I then saw Pacifica on the way down and said to her "Good bye" after that we shook hands and departed for the arena. On the way I noticed that a lady was stabbing needles into the competitors "What's that I asked." " A tracking device" she said as she was injecting me with the needle. When we arrive it was a small underground building I walked up to my designated room only to see Soos waiting for me after he helped into my suit I gave him my cap and said "Keep it safe for me okay buddy." And with that he wished me luck. I stepped on a glowing platform that was taking me up. When I arrived to my destination I saw a huge green open forest with a cache of weapons in the middle knowing that I already have my book I wouldn't be needing those weapons for now. On my right and left I saw the other competitors forming a circle around me and we were standing on a mine which can be remotely detonated if one of us steps out of line. Halfway between the weapons and the competitors I noticed a small bag filled with supplies. Then before I could anything a huge dome that surrounded me presented an image of President Bill saying "Good luck and may the odds be with you." After that I noticed everybody rushing for the weapons me and Pacifica remembered Grunkle Stan's advice and went for the bags and made a run for it. After I got my supplies I climbed my way up to a tall tree and decided to wait it out until there were only a few people left a few yards away I saw a girl making camp. During night fall I saw the girls fire and than I heard a scream and I noticed the girl wasn't breathing anymore. I than heard President Bill's voice saying "each cannon shot represents a district has fallen". Then I heard a noise "Bang....Bang.......Bang......Bang......Bang......Bang". After that I was more determined than ever to survive. The next day I woke just in time to notice that Gideon and he's group were standing right below my tree but what I didn't get was why is Pacifica with them. I was too high p for them to hit me with anything so I just waited until they all took a nap. Than I saw in the Tree in front of me my stalker was pointing beside me that a nest of cracker jackers (Cyborg mosquitoes that give you hallucinations and can be fatal) was laying there. I dropped a pebble to Pacifica's head and she awoke realizing what I'm about to do. I quickly got my machete I received from the bag and started cutting it down I took a few stings in the process but it was far from fatal and It was far worth it. The nest crashed unto the ground an started buzzing around the group Gideon quickly noticed this and screamed out "Wasps" the rest of the group made a run for it but Lee wasn't so lucky he laid there motionless with multiple stings across his body and I realized I just killed him. I was about to loot the body of Lee when I realized that I got dizzy...dizzy and then I fell down. I woke up realizing I'm in a new part of the Cipher games noticing Candy was taking care of me when I was away. I quickly became acquainted with her and decided it was best if we work together. But I reached into my suit and realized my book was missing.

Pacificas POV

Me and my club were tired running from Dippers trick and lost the cracker jackers a few yards away. We quickly went back and noticed that Lee was dead my group looted his body while I found Dipper's spell book and hid it in my bag. When we arrived back to the girl's camp we just took we notice that Gideon was swearing and telling us "The one who brings me that boy's head gets my silver sword." Listening to this my group was quickly determined to kill Dipper but I noticed something else I saw a small boy sneaking up through tree but I sighed with regret when Robby captured him Gideon than said let the new girl have this one. And with that I drawed back my bow on his face looked away and said "Sorry kid better luck next time." Then there was silence the boy's body was laying motionless on the floor we looted his corpse and no sooner when we finished we heard a bang. I was a bit relieved when I know there was only about 10 people left and that Dipper was one of them.
