Claire POV
It is the day before Lau's visit, so I am working on some last-minute details like wardrobe, and Ciel suddenly requesting I invite two more people on one night's notice.
The issue of wardrobe inspires a heated debate between Sebastian and I. It goes somewhat like this;
"Sebastian, I plan to wear my pink day dress tomorrow. I think Ciel should wear his beige shorts-outfit. He looks so handsome in it...not to mention that it compliments my dress perfectly."
"Young Mistress,"
"Yes?"
"I'm afraid that I have to disagree, milady. I believe the Young Master will look better in the olive-green suit, and it will also compliment your dress well too."
"Sebastian..."
"Young Mistress..."
...
...
"Sebastian, do I need to remind you that as a butler, you serve not only Ciel, but me as well. I may not have a demonic contract with you, but you are still a servant, and I am your mistress."
"I apologize for my inexcusable behavior, Lady Claire."
'Whoah ... I just put a demon in his place...'
Anyway, back to the matter at hand;
"Sebastian,"
"Yes, Lady Claire?"
"I apologize, as I know this is last minute, but Ciel has made up his mind to have Alois Trancy and Elizabeth Midford join us tomorrow. Can you make that happen?"
"Yes, my lady."

Once again, I find Ciel in his office. He is attending to his previously neglected paperwork. I call to him as I pass the study, on the way to my room.
