Claire POV
(This is at breakfast)
'It's been three weeks since the beginning of my contract with Kalien. He's awesome. Sebastian is obviously the better butler, but Kalien is more of a friend.'
I put my fork down and rest my head on my arm.
"Hey Ciel?"
"Yeah, Claire?"
"Do you think we could have a ball sometime soon?"
"Why do you want to have a ball Claire?"
Kalien walks over to Ciel, and puts his hand on Ciel's shoulder.
"Wow. You're a pathetic excuse of a fiancé, aren't ya master?" Kalien starts.
"Know your place, Kalien. How dare you insult me, address me so casually, and touch me?!"
"Kalien, Ciel is right. Please try to be more respectful."
"Yes, mi'lady. Anyway, young lord, Lady Claire's birthday is in a few days."
"Oh? Is that right? You are turning sixteen, correct?"
"Yes! Oh, Ciel I'm so excited! Next year is my coming out."
"I don't see why you need to take part in that tradition, you're already engaged...to me..." he whispers the last part.
"Because it's tradition Ciel! Anyway back to the matter at hand, can I please have a birthday ball?"
"Yes, of course. But you have to plan it. It's in three weeks right? And when are your cousins coming for tea?"
"Yay! Yes it's in three weeks, and Rose and Calaena are coming in four days."
