Chapter 13

Vic's pov
(Three months into the pregnancy.)

I was at the doctors office with Jess. she was getting an ultra sound done. Jaime would have came, but his mom wasn't feeling all that great, so he had to make sure she was okay. we haven't told my parents yet because of how busy we have been moving into our new home, but I do plan to go over their the moment I have some down time.

"Jessica rose?" I heard a doctor call.

We both stand up and walk over to the doctor.

"Right this way" he said, turning around.

We followed him into one of the rooms. Jess sat at the cushioned bed thing and I sat on a chair next to it. the doctor asked her some questions about how she was feeling and stuff like that.

"Ok, now I need you to lean back and lift up your shirt." he told her.

She did as she was told, and the doctor put some of that weird blue gel onto her stomach. he moved it around her belly. a little blob came onto the screen and it looked like the outline of the baby.

"Well this is your baby. the baby is still a little to small, so you really can't tell the gender yet, but most likely the next time you come in, we will be able to tell. everything looks normal, for both of you. I think your all set. would you like me to print off a picture?" he asked, handing her a paper towel.

"Yes please." I said, I wanted Jaime to see.

He clicks some buttons and he hands me a picture and smiles.

"Here yea go, have a nice day you guys." he said and left.

Jess wiped the gel off of her and I helped her up.

"I want to thank you so much for doing this for Jaime and I, it means so much to us."

"It's not a problem! But I am hungry so maybe a trip to get some chips from the Walmart down the road?" she asked hopefully.

I giggled a little and I nodded. we walked out of the hospital and went to Walmart, to which Jess picked out some chips.

"Do you want me to drop you off at the house?" I asked her.

We finished moving just about everything in last week, now it's just the nursery that's left.

"Yes please." she said stuffing her face with some potato chips.

I dropped her off and I went over to see Jaime and his mom. I walked in and I saw Jaime on the couch. I walked over to him and I sat on his lap.

"Hey baby." he said giving me a kiss.

"Hey." I said kissing him back.

"Where's Jess?" he asked.

"At home." I simply relied.

I pulled out the picture of the baby and I handed it to him.

"Our baby is gonna be so cute!" he said smiling.

"I'm so exited." i said looking at the picture with him. "how is mom?" I asked him.

"Feeling a little bit better now, but I'm worried vic." he said with a tear falling down his face.

I wiped it away and I kissed him on the lips.

"I'm worried to, but she will get better, i promise." I said with a reassuring smile. "where is she anyways?" I asked.

"She was tired, she is in her room taking a nap."

I replied with a mumble and I snuggle into him.

"I love you." I said softly.

"I love you more." he said in reply.

"Impossible."

(A couple of days later)

Jaime, Jess, and I are going over to my moms and dads house right now. mike and tony are their also, along with Jaime's parents and chris. we are planing to tell everybody together. I'm honestly nervous right now. Jaime is driving and I was in the passengers seat, Jess was in the back. my body was shaking a little and I think Jaime noticed because he grabbed my hand and kissed it.

"It will be fine I promise." he said reassuringly.

I smiled lightly, but it didn't stop my body from shaking. I leaned my head on his shoulder and I let out a shaky breath as we pulled into the drive way. I looked back at Jess and she gave me a smile too. we all got out and walked inside. everybody was in the kitchen talking to each other. tony was in mikes lap, they are so cute together. we walked in and everybody looked over at us, which didn't help with the anxiety I was feeling. Jaime must be some sorta mind reader because he wrapped his arm around me and smiled at me.

"Hey guys." Jaime said cheerfully.

We hear everybody say hi.

"Who is your friend?" my mom asked, pointing at Jess.

Jaime looked down at me and I nodded, urging for him to continue.

"Well guys, we have some news." He paused for a moment. " this is jessica, mom, dad, i believe you already know her, but she carying mine and Vic's baby." He said with a hopeful smile at the end.

Everybody went quiet. they all had a confused look. my mom stood up.

"I don't think you guys are ready to have a baby." she stated.
