Bulletproof love

chapter 14

Vic's pov

"I have to agree with your mother here." my father said.

It felt like somebody just put a bullet through me.

"W-what?" I questioned.

"Victor honey, we don't think you and Jaime are ready for a baby. you guys will be on tour and you will never have any time for the little one." my mother stated. "and not to mention that you guys are immature." she added in.

"Well I'm sorry, but I'm with mom on this one guys." mike chirped in.

Everybody agreed with my mom, even tony, who I defiantly though was going to be ok with us having a baby. I felt a tear fall and I ran out of the house. Moments after I turn the corner I heard someone call for me, probably Jaime. I slow down and I let him catch up to me, with tears in my eyes. I felt the person pull me into a hug.

"Look, I don't care what anybody says, you and I are gonna have this baby, and we aren't gonna care if nobody agrees with us. as long as we are happy, then that's all I could ever ask for. please don't be sad." he said to me.

I calmed down after a moment and he just held me in his arms. It was comforting knowing that he was here for me.

"Better now?"

"A little bit." I sniffled.

"Come on, let's go grab jess and go home. i don't know about you but I really don't want to be here anymore." He said grabbing my hand and we walked back to the house. "Wait in the car and I will send Jessica." He stated, going into the house.

Jaimes pov

I walked back into the house to see everyone sitting and chatting.

"How do you guys have the nerves to say that. We try to make a happy evening and you guys just shoot it down. Come on jess we are leaving." I said and grabbed her waist and her hand and walked out.

Once we got home, jess said she was tired so she went to bed which left vic and I snuggling on the couch.

"Hey baby?" I heard vic say softly.

"Yea?" I replied looking down at him.

"Are we really ready for a baby? I mean we never did talk about tours and stuff."

"Of course we are ready, honestly if we weren't, then the topic would have never came up. And as for tours, we can just get a babysitter or something. It will all work out sooner or later, I promise." I said kissing his nose.

"I just dont know, everybody just really got to me today." He sighed.

"Well how about I take your mind off of the subject for a little while?" I suggested kissing his neck softly.

I felt him smile and turn his head so are lips touched. Let's just say we had an event full night....
