Georgia's P.O.V

I woke up and rubbed my eyes. I couldn't believe today. I got out of Danny's bed at dusk and walked to the kitchen for something to eat. I looked in the fridge and found grapes so I took a handful.

I sat on the couch and ate them, staring at nothing. I was not in a good mood though. I can't get the nightmare of January out of my head. People say that history can't repeat itself, well guess what? It CAN!

Ugh, I should find a way to get this off my mind.

Then Barry walked into the room and sat next to me.

"Hey Georgia, I was wondering if you would like to go on the date now or later?"
"Now sounds good Barry"
"Ok then, let me get my keys then"

I finished the last grape and then stood at the front door. Barry opened the door like a gentleman and told Danny that we were going out. I heard Danny say ok and then Barry and I left for our date.

We were driving somewhere and Barry didn't tell me. We eventually pulled up at a candy shop. I love candy shops! How did Barry know?

"I found that you love candy so I thought maybe a candy shop would be a nice place....after we go to get lunch" Barry explained
"That sounds like a really nice idea!"
"Okay then, then let's go"

We got out of the car and headed to a pizza shop. We looked at what was available and we knew that sharing a pizza was the best option. Now the problem with me is that I don't like a lot of flavours of pizza.

We settled on Margherita pizza which is my favourite along with dessert pizza and ordered the pizza along with drinks. We decided to talk about whatever came to our heads.

"So Georgia, can I ask why you are not in highschool?" Barry questioned
"Okay, well in order to do the programme for Youtube, I had to leave school"
"So you dropped out of highschool?"
"Well, I prefer graduated since this is now a full job thing"
"Oh okay"
"Anyway, I am grateful that I am able to get to know the game grumps"
"Why is that?"
"Because you guys are able to make people happy and you guys don't have to care on what people think of you"
"Well, we do get hate from time to time. Mostly on Suzy and myself"
"But you guys can just shrug it off. Me though, I can't shake it off"

Barry wrapped an arm around my shoulder and pulled me close to him. I hugged him softly and let myself enjoy the moment. Barry hugged back with love and we didn't realise how long we had been like this for until we heard a woman say our order. We snapped out of it and sat on a bench to eat our pizza. That's the best pizza ever!

We finished the pizza, even though I ate most of it and threw the rubbish in the bin. We walked over to the candy shop and shopped for different candy. The shop was closing soon so we grabbed whatever candy we could get and paid for it. We left and hopped into the car.

We drove to a beach where we could see the sun setting. I grabbed a bag of candy and we sat on the sand, sharing the bag of lollies as we watched the sun set.

I decided to take a picture of the sunset and then a selfie. Barry laughed at the selfie part and grabbed my phone from my hands to take a picture of the two of us. I used a hairband to tie the bag of lollies before siting it on my side. Barry pulled a few strands of hair from my face and I blushed.

"So Georgia, is it okay if I ask you why you were crying?"
"Like I said, haters"
"I mean the details. It's just I want to help you. If something bad has happened, I don't want you to suffer alone"
"That's sweet Barry. But it was just a bad case of haters"
"...It's about the explosion on Twitter today, isn't it?"
"How did you-"
"I have Twitter and I have seen what Mark tweeted as well as the haters. But we are going to get you through it this"
"Who's we?"
"Everyone who still believes in you"
"If I rely on people who believe in me, then it's the same as believing in myself"
"What do you mean?"
"I have to go through this alone-"
"No you don't"
"I have to!"

We were silent and it looked like Barry wanted to say something. But he didn't speak.

Mark's P.O.V

Who knew that I was going to find Georgia with Barry at the beach. Especially at a time like this. They just had a conversation that had me guilty all over it. But now she was chatting up Barry and I know this is bad. Barry is my friend and I will not let her use him.

I walked onto the sand and heard more of their conversation.

"How about this? Forget out Mark and the Twitter incident. Forget it existed" Barry spoke to Georgia
"How would that even work? It would still be there"
"I guess"
"It's nice to know that you want to help me Barry"
"Of course I would help you. I am your friend and I will always be. I am not going to abandon you"
"Barry...that's so sweet"

I wish I could speak and warn Barry that Georgia was chatting him up but then Georgia would charm Barry into sticking on her side. It's sad to see this happen. Barry was about to be the third victim in this mess and he shouldn't be involved. I stepped into the spotlight and worked my way towards them. They turned their heads and froze.

Georgia's P.O.V

What is Mark doing here?! Has he been stalking me? I looked back at Barry who was surprised to see Mark as well as I. I stood up and approached Mark.

"Mark, what are you doing here?"
"Georgia, why Barry? Out of all people to victimise, why him?"
"What do you mean 'victimise' ?"
"You used me, you used Danny-"
"Wait, I didn't use either of you. Wait, are you jealous that I gave my virginity to Danny?! Is this what this is?!?!"
"Why should I be jealous of a cheater and liar like you?"
"Excuse me?!"

Barry ran over to us and held me back. I looked at Mark with fury.

"Well Barry, are you sure you want to be on her side?" Mark asked
"You are the real culprit Mark. Georgia is innocent!"
"She slept with Danny and slept with me! I wouldn't be surprised if she has slept with you!"
"As least she probably screams my name louder than yours"
"You little bas***d!"

"Stop!" I screamed "I chose to lose my virginity to Danny because he didn't force me. I slept with you because I trusted you and I did with Barry because I..."
"You what?" Barry questioned
"I felt with you Barry"
"A...connection?"

"So you have fallen for Barry?" Mark wondered
"Not like that, just...I feel I have things in common with Barry and that feeling is rare for me" I answered
"So you have more things in common with Barry than me?"
"I guess"

Mark took a step back and ran a hand through his hair. He looked down and then I heard him chuckle.

"Looks like you have feelings Georgia"
"Well Mark, you need to get your A game up if you want me"
"Why should I? You are the one who has to get to me"
"That's not true"
"You know it's true"

"Will you both stop fighting?" Barry yelled at us "Mark, accept that you have hurt Georgia. Accept that she has moved on. She has a choice on who to love and she doesn't need to be held down by what you want from her. I know that you love her but you need to respect her decisions.

As for you Georgia, I know you are going through a bad stage right now with all the hate and shame you are being given. But you also need to open up to someone when you have a problem. There is always hope and you are not alone. I know that Mark's works are hurtful but you can't beat yourself up with them.

You two need to solve your issues now or this will never end. Do you understand?!"

Never in my life did I think that Barry would say something like that or talk for so long. My face showed surprise with heartfelt love and I covered my mouth with my hand. Mark was surprised and started to walk away. I just ran to Barry and hugged him.
