Georgia's P.O.V

That bang! What was that? It sounded like a car's tyre pop or something! I ran in the direction of the noise and I saw a crowd gathered around a point. It could be gruesome and yuck but there is that curiosity that is striking me. And that is a bad thing! I ran towards the crowd and I heard someone ring for an ambulance. What I heard wasn't a car tyre pop, but in fact a gun shot. And the victim made me cry.

"Mark! No!" I screamed in horror

I ran to his body and saw that he had be shot in the stomach. Who did this?! I didn't want this to happen! And it's all my fault! I cried and begged for him to stay alive. I tried to stop the bleeding but I ended up getting blood on my own finger tips.

"Please Mark, stay alive for me!" I cried in sadness

The crowd just stood there, looking at us like they were looking at nothing. I heard the ambulance and I was allowed to go with Mark. Just then, I saw Mark's eyes open and look at me.

"Hey Georgia, I've found you" Mark spoke softly
"Mark, I was so scared that you were going to die"
"I'm not dead yet. You can't kill me off easily"
"Hehe, I know. You are a brave man"
"You are the brave one. I love you"
"I love you too"

Mark stroked my hair and ruffled it. I giggled and Mark smiled. We arrived at the hospital and Mark was rushed to get the bullet out. I waited in the waiting room and a nurse came over to me.

"Are you a family member of Mark Fischbach?"
"I'm his girlfriend, is he okay? Will he be alright?"
"He will be fine, once the bullet is removed and bandaged, then you can go and see him"
"Thank you"

I waited for what felt like an eternity. I let the others know the situation, including the Markiplites. Arin and Barry arrived with panicked faces. Then they saw me and rushed over to me.

"Is Mark alright? How did this happen?" Arin asked me with worry
"The doctor told me that he will be alright and I have no idea how this happened. All I know that it is my fault"
"At least you both are safe now"
"Thanks"

Barry gave me a pat on the shoulder and a smile. I smiled back but then the smile fell.

"By the way, why did you run away?" Barry questioned me
"Because I found out something that may ruin Mark's and my relationship"
"What?"
"I want to say it to Mark first. I owe him that for getting shot"
"Damn right you do!"

I felt the tears on my face and Arin gave me a hug. Barry joined the hug and made it a three way hug. It was comforting to have someone by my side. Then I heard the nurse.

Mark's P.O.V

I woke up from that surgery where they had to take out the bullet. I scanned the room and saw a nurse smile at me.

"Hello Mr Fischbach, hope you had a nice nap. The bullet was easy to pull out so the gunner must have poor aim. However, it did hit certain veins so you will have to have a cane to stable your walking. You were lucky sir. like a guardian angel was protecting you" The nurse explained
"Where's Georgia? I want to see her" I asked
"She is on her way now I believe"
"Thank you"

The nurse gave me a nod and left the room. I stared out the window and saw the view from my room. However, I was interrupted by something more beautiful. Georgia ran over and gave me a soft hug. I pulled her into an embrace and I heard Georgia's breathing.

"You okay Georgia?"
"Yeah, just go glad that you are okay"
"I got told that I was lucky to have the wound I have"
"But you had a guardian angel"
"How did you know? Did the nurse tell you?"
"She told me that I am your angel. But I'm not your angel. Your father is"
"My father?"
"Yes, and I saw your father today. Moments before you got shot"
"But...he's dead"
"He may be dead, but that doesn't stop him from watching over you"

My eyes started to feel warmth from my heart. I smiled and got out the ring box. I opened it and presented Georgia with the ring.

"Hold on, that's-" Georgia gasped
"Yes, the ring my Mum gave you on your birthday. That was a message to me from her. She approved of you and gave her ring to you" I said
"Her ring?"
"This was the same engagement ring my father gave to my mother. Father gave her this ring because he found her special. Well, I found you to be so special. So, Georgia Cartner, will you marry me?"
"Yes Mark, I will marry you!"

I slipped the ring on Georgia's finger and she hugged me and gave me a kiss. But then her face fell into sadness.

"I owe you an explanation" She spoke
"On why you ran away?" I guessed
"Yeah. I was worried that you didn't want this outcome so I grew scared to tell you. I didn't know how you would react and I guess I never found a good way to tell you"
"Georgia, whatever it is. It's okay. We will get through this together"
"You don't even know the news yet"
"Then why don't you tell me?"

Georgia took a deep breath and looked at me in the eyes. The way she did that showed how scared she was to say what she was about to say. And when she did say it, I went wide eyed and then smiled in joy. There is no way she could make me sad about the news.

"Mark, I'm pregnant"
