Life is at it's best when you are so happy that you won't forget the memory it possess. - Gunique (me)
Georgia's P.O.V
It has been a month now since Mark's birthday. Man, how time flies so quickly. It's like I can't keep up! I walked over to Mark who was watching TV in the lounge room. I started down beside him and he placed his arm around me, causing me to lean on him. I laid my head on his shoulder and I felt him kiss my forehead. I giggled and he smiled. We looked at each other before giving each other a small kiss on the lips. Mark turned off the TV and grazed his hand on my cheek.
"I love you Georgia"
"I love you too Mark"
"So what do you want to do today?"
"How about you surprise me? Do you like the sound of that?"
"I love that idea. And I know what to do so go get ready, okay?"
"Alright"I gave Mark another kiss before walking to my room to get ready. I just made sure that I looked nice and then I looked at my wounds again. Just one small line left on my left wrist. The memories flooded back from that day. How could I have been so stupid? I'm so stupid.
"Georgia, are you alright?"
I turned to the voice that spoke and Mark looked concerned.
"Georgia, you're crying. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine Mark, I just remember that day so clearly and I want to forget about it"
"It's okay, you are still alive and have the biggest heart there is. I am going to make sure that you are safe and happy. I love you too much to lose you"
"Thank you, that means so much for me to hear"I felt the warms tears down my face and I broke down. Mark held me in his arms as I cried on his shoulder. He tried to soothe me and I had my heavy breathing going on. Mark lifted my head and wiped the tears away. I am so grateful that a man like Mark has stood by my side. Very few people have stood by my side in my life and I am glad that Mark is one of them.
Mark grabbed a box of tissues and I wiped the tears with them. I controlled my breathing and I smiled at Mark.
"Mark, do I look okay?"
"Yes Georgia, even in tears you look so beautiful"
"Thank you"Mark and I went off to the secret location in LA. I wonder where it is? Could it be a candy shop? Could it be a cafe? I don't really know. All I know is that I am going to spend the day with Mark somewhere. Mark had a smile on his face as we kept on going. As we kept on driving, I found that we were at the beach. The beach? I thought Mark didn't like the ocean. But we still kept on driving. Then we pulled up at the secret location.
We were at Santa Monica Pier.
Mark's P.O.V
Why Santa Monica Pier you might be asking? Because there is a small amusement park and we can look out to the ocean safely. I found a place to park and we entered the premises. Georgia's smile beamed on her face as she started skipping at my walking pace. We walked on the deck and looked out to the ocean. The wind picked up and Georgia's hair blew so nicely. Mine was just a bit of a mess in the wind.
Georgia looked at me and we smiled at each other. After a picture, we went to the amusement park and went for the side show alleys. There was that game where you had to hit the bell with the hammer in order to get a prize. Georgia went first and it made three quarters the way there. I gave myself determination to win a stuffed teddy bear and swung the hammer onto the pad. The bell rung out and the man who owned the stall called me a winner.
I got the stuffed teddy bear and I gave it to Georgia. She accepted it and thanked me for it. We continued walking around until we decided to get something to eat. We bought candy floss and sat down on a bench. Georgia ate her candy floss slowly and we had a conversation.
"So you having a good day Georgia?"
"I'm having a wonderful day!"
"That's nice. I thought you would like it"
"So, where to next Mark?"Georgia's P.O.V
I finished up my candy floss and we walked towards the Ferris wheel. It didn't take long to be seated in a car and off to be rotated around. We stopped about halfway up for people in another car t get in and then we stopped up top.
"Thank you Mark. For everything"
"No, thank you Georgia"
"You have helped me through so much and allowed me to smile a lot"
"And you have reconnected me with my kid self again and keeping me company. Not ending up alone"
"But you have never been alone. You have amazing friends and a loving family"
"Oh I mean, in terms of romance. It's like the first day we met, I knew you were going to be something. I blushed when your leg accidentally grazed mine. I didn't anything of it. Maybe that was a sign"I kissed Mark right then. We drove home and when we entered, our lips connected. I felt my love for Mark heat up and Mark carried me to his bedroom. We kept on kissing and then Mark's lips went down to my neck. I moaned when he found my sweet spot and dipped my head. Mark stopped to take off my shirt and then he leaned to my face.
"Do you want to do this?" He asked
"Yes, I want to do this. I want to make love to you" I responded
"I love you Georgia"
"I love you too Mark"Then we continued on.
