Chapter 4 (Harry)

Chapter 4

Today is the start of our new album and we will be collaborating with someone. We don't know who it is but they told us that she's a girl. We woke up early and I started to take a bath. I dressed up and I sat on the bed. I recalled what Lou said to me the other night.

"Harry, start dating someone again." he said. "I know Katie wouldn't mind." he added.

"My past relationships didn't work out. And whenever I date someone, all I do is to think of her." I said and sighed.

"Just try, Harry. Katie wouldn't be so happy if you're dating someone and your mind and heart is not on that person, but on her." he said and patted my back.

"I'm trying." I said to him.

I'm really trying to move on and it's pretty hard. Maybe, Katie would be telling me right now that I should stop thinking about her because she's already gone and maybe she'll tell me also that I should start dating someone again.

I yanked her away from my thoughts and I heard someone knocking on my door. I opened the door and I saw Zayn.

"Hey. You ready?" he asked me.

"Yeah." I said and went out of my bedroom.

"Let's go. The other boys are already in the van." he said and started walking already. I followed him and we were the only ones who are not yet in the van.

We were quiet at first and then we started to talk about the girl we'll be working with.

"I wonder who's the girl we'll be working with." Louis said.

"Me too. I bet she's pretty." Niall added.

"And great too. No wonder she's chosen to work with us." Zayn said and smirked.

"How old is she?" I asked them.

All of them bursted out laughing and I don't even know what's wrong with my question.

"What?" I asked, slightly annoyed.

And then I realized that my past girlfriends are kinda older than me.

"It's not like that, guys. I'm just asking because you know, we can all get along if we're all in the same age and likes." I explained to them.

"I think she's eighteen." Liam replied.

"That's nice. At least, she's also young." Niall said.

"I think she's fun to be with." Louis said and Zayn nodded.

We went on talking about this girl and we talked about other things. Without knowing, we already reached the recording studio. There are no fans out there so we went straight to the front door.

"Hey, boys! Glad to see you already." Dalton said to us. He's one of the staffs here.

We went inside the music room and sat on the sofa. I think Alexis is not yet here so we chilled out first. Someone told us that is her name.

"I've got to use the loo first." I said and went out of the music room to go to the bathroom.

After that, I went back again to the music room but I bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry."I said to the girl.

"It's okay. Oh." she said and maybe, she recognized me.

"Hi. I'm Harry." I said to her and smiled.

"Of course. I do know you." she said and laughed.

"And you are?" I said and smiled again.

"Alexis." she said and smiled. She's the girl we'll be working with. No doubt she's really pretty.

"Nice meeting you, Alexis." I said and smiled. "Let's go to the music room?" I added. She nodded as a response and she followed me. 

We reached the music room and I can hear the lads laughing. We went inside and everybody stared at us.

"Harry! I thought you're going to the loo? How come you have a girl with you?" Louis said and smirked.

"Yeah right! Introduce her to us!" Niall added.

"I went to the bathroom, Lou. I just bumped into her and she's Alexis." I introduced her to them.

"Hi, Alexis! Come! Sit with us." Zayn said and pointed the empty chair.

I sat between Niall and Louis and they kept on nudging and smirking at me.

"Stop it, guys. You're acting like little children." I said and frowned.

"She's pretty right?" Niall said.

"And she's nice too. Look at her and that smile. God, Harry. Just look at her." Louis said and smirked at me.

"She seems pretty nice. I bet we'll have a very wonderful time working with her." I replied.

"Especially you. You will really have a good time." Niall said and winked.

I just ignored these two boys and I think they noticed that so they started to talk with Alexis. She laughs at every jokes and she's really talkative but not in a bad way. All throughout the day, we just hanged out since it is the first day and we need to know more about her. 

"Hey, Alex! I think someone's already crushing on you!" Louis shouted.

"Huh? How come?" she said, slightly confused.

"It's Harry! He's been staring at you the whole time!" Niall said.

Damn. Louis and Niall. I'm gonna kill you once we got home.

I saw Alex blushed at what Niall said. And then, we continued our conversation once again. It's really fun. Totally fun. We didn't know that it's time to go already because we're really having a good time with each other.

"It was nice meeting you, Alex! Can't wait to talk to you more!" Niall said. I bet he's the one crushing on Alexis and not me.

"Until next time, Alex." Liam said and smiled.

"Bye, guys! I totally had fun with you! I'm so happy that I got to work with you. You are so amazing." she said and smiled.

"You're also amazing, Alex. Right, Harry?" Louis said and stuck his tongue out at me. What a baby.

"Yeah." I simply replied.

"Time to go. Bye, Alex! See you next week!" Zayn said and started to walk towards our van. The other boys followed. I was left alone with Alex.

"Harry, why didn't you follow them?" she asked.

"I just want to ask something." I said. 

"Go ahead." she said and smiled.

"Uhm... what's your phone number?" I asked shyly. 

What's happening to you, Harry? I asked myself.
