Chapter 10 (Harry)

That girl. That girl is Katie. I have no doubts about it. She is the Katie that I've loved ever since. But wait. She is gone. Totally gone. Am I only hallucinating? Am I only imagining someone that I really miss? I must be crazy then. No. I need to grab my chance. Maybe, that girl is really my Katie.

I quickly stood up from my seat and went straight to the exit door. I heard voices calling me, but I continued on walking. I will just explain it to them later. I am already outside and I can see El and Lou stride across the street. It's just the two of them, there is no girl with them. Am I being haunted by Katie? That would be better then. At least, I could see her everytime. I am so desperate. Louis spotted me and they both went to my direction. I waited for them and asked the question that I really want to find out the answer.

"Where's the girl?" I asked them, not even thinking to say hi or hello to them.

"Wow. What a nice way to say hello, Harry." Louis grimaced. "What girl?" he added, clueless about the question which I'm asking.

"Sorry. The girl. The girl I saw awhile ago with you, guys." I replied, getting impatient to know the answer.

"Oh. That's Caitlyn. She's my bestfriend. I bet Louis told you about her." El said and smiled brightly. The girl's name is Caitlyn, not KATIE. Stop being a delusional prick, Harry.

"Yes. He.. he told me about it. How come she's not with you?" I asked once again. I have asked them too much.

"She went out with her friend. Wait. How come you're asking too much questions about Caitlyn?" Louis smirked at me. Think of a good excuse, Harry.

"Um.. we want to meet her because your friend is also our friend. Isn't that cool?" I smiled at them. Well, this is a very lame excuse.

"I believe you, Harry. You're lying. There's something more." Louis looked at me as if trying to read my mind.

"I agree with Louis. There's something more, Harry! Tell us." El sided with Louis. What have I gotten myself into?

"Um..."

"Harry! What happened to you? We were calling you but you didn't answer. Anything wrong?" Liam called out to me. Thank you so much, Liam. You're a lifesaver. "Oh. Hi Lou. Hi El." he acknowledged them.

"Nothing. I just thought that I saw someone familiar. An old friend." I smiled innocently and Louis smirked at me. He knew already that I thought Caitlyn was Katie.

"We were worried about you. Next time, tell us okay?" he looked at me and I nodded. "Let's go back to the restaurant now. They're waiting for us. Are you going to join us?" Liam turned to Lou and El.

"Of course. We were supposed to surprise you but we saw Harry." Louis said and looked at me. I can already tell that he'll be interrogating me later.

We went back to the resto and the others welcomed El and Lou. Everyone is talking except me. I simply nod or smile whenever someone is saying something but my mind is still with that girl. I know her name; it's Caitlyn but is it really her true name? I am too paranoid. I tried brushing off my thoughts from her but I can't. Why, Katie? You're already dead. Gone as in GONE FOREVER.

It's getting late and we decided to go home already so we can rest already and be prepared for the recording tomorrow. We will drive Alexis home while Louis will do the same thing to El. Before I got into the car, Louis stopped me.

"What?" I raised my brow, pretending that I don't know what he's going to tell me.

"I will talk to you later." I knew it. I could be a mind reader. His face is serious.
