Chapter 19 (Caitlyn)

One week has already passed since me and my Mum's bickering. I haven't talked to her yet. They went somewhere again. For their business. I'm used to it; them being away for business trips and such so I'm left with our maids which happens all the time. Because of Edward, the guy who owns the number which Louis gave to me, I am more determined to find out about the truth even if it hurts me. I bet the good side of this day is El will be back. I missed her so much and I've got a lot of things to tell her.

I got out of my bed since Louis and I will fetch her at the airport. I took a bath and immediately get dressed. As I went downstairs, I realized how empty this house is. It's always me who lives in here and it seems like it's not even lively. I tried to brush away all the thoughts and besides I must be happy today because El will be back!

"Good morning, Miss Caitlyn." Melissa, one of our maids greeted me.

"Good morning, Melissa. What did I tell you about the 'miss' thing?" I am just not used being called miss. I treat them fairly and I don't like to act all superior here.

"Sorry, Miss." I looked at her and raised my brow. "Caitlyn. What can I do for you? Daniel told me that your car is already ready. Where are you going?"

"Nothing, Melissa. I am fine." I smiled at her. "Great! I'll be fetching El in the airport." I don't want her to be suspicious since I know that Mum is asking them to look out for me.

"All by yourself or are you with her boyfriend?" she asked me.

"All by myself." I lied. "I'll be going home late tonight though. I need to catch up with her."

"Okay then. Be careful." I nodded and went outside.

I saw Daniel by the garage, still polishing my car. My parents gave it to me a year ago and I haven't really used it. I'm just glad that Daniel is here to take care of it for me. It still looks sleek and new.

"Good morning, dear." he greeted me and handed me the car keys.

"Thank you." I said. "Without you, my car would totally look rubbish." he chuckled. Among all the workers, I am more comfortable with Daniel. Maybe because he's been with us for a longer time.

"You must go now. Be safe and have fun!" he told me as I get inside the car.

I drove off and I texted Louis that I'm on my way. I haven't seen him since that day on the beach as well as the other boys. They got busy for sure. I just can't wait to see El already so I can tell her about Edward, the guy I've been texting for a week now. He makes me smile and whenever I get a text from him, my day is complete. I think I'm having a crush on him. Is that weird? I finally arrived to the boys' house and saw Louis. I bet he's excited to see El.

"Hey." I greeted him as I rolled down the window.

"I missed you. It seems like you're radiant today." he said. Radiant? What?

"What are you talking about? You haven't seen me in a week, that's why. Hop in so we can go now."

He went inside the car and I looked at him with confusion. "What?" he asked me.

"I'm not a chauffeur, you know. Why are you in the backseat?"

"It's because..." Before he got the chance to continue, someone opened the door in the passenger seat's side.

"I'll be the one who will be sitting here." Harry. Great.

"Louis! We already talked about this! I thought that it's only the both of us who will be going to the airport? How come... he's coming?" I looked at Harry and glared at him. I am still a little bit embarrassed with what happened to us in my beach house.
