I woke up early the next morning, not even thinking of getting out of my bed. I can't forget the things that I've heard last night. It seems like I'm trying to escape from them but they kept on catching up. I finally decided to have a jog for a moment to be able to refresh for a while.

I made my way to the bathroom and I remembered once again that voice which seems familiar to me yet I can't recall who is the owner of that voice. I wore my track suit and my favorite running shoes. And as I glanced at the mirror, my eyes are swollen and puffy due to too much crying last night. I walked out the door and headed outside.

I planned to travel our neighborhood. Whenever I run, I feel so strong and brave. It is like my remedy to forget things because I feel like I am with the nature which is very calm and peaceful. It seems like I am a stranger here because no one knows me in this neighborhood. I've been living here since I was a baby. How come I don't have any childhood friends here? I brushed off my thoughts and continued running. Suddenly, I felt a vibration in my pocket knowing that it is my phone. I saw the caller ID and it's Louis who's calling. I answered it quickly.

"Hey Louis." I answered as I went to the nearest bench.

"Hey Caitlyn. Have you read my text message last night?" he asked me and I recalled his message asking me to have a talk with him.

"Yes. What is it? Is there something wrong?" I asked feeling worried since he is a friend of mine.

"No. There's nothing wrong." he chuckled. "It's just that I want to talk to you." I was wondering why will he talk to me. Can't he tell El about it?

"Sure." I agreed since I don't have someone to talk to right now because El and her family had a family vacation.

"Are you free by four o'clock this afternoon?"

"I have nothing to do so it means I'm free." I don't want to stay home for a while since I am still mad at my parents. "Where will we meet? I know a place where there are only a few people. I'll text you the address." I added.

"Okay. Thanks. See you!" he answered cheerfully.

"See you too." I was the one who end our conversation. Maybe, I should tell Louis about what happened last night. I know that he can help me and I just want to let out all the pain that I'm feeling right now.

I went back to our house to get changed and to eat. Once I got back there, Mum and Dad are in the living room and they noticed me.

"Hi, honey. Good morning. Where have you been?" Mum flashed me her sweetest smile, acting as if nothing is going on.

"I jogged for a while." I replied, trying hard to keep the coldness in my voice.

"Oh. Okay. That's good. Did you eat already?" I simply shook my head as a sign of response.

"Do you want me to ask the maids to cook for you?" Dad glanced up from the gazette he's reading and looked at me.

"No. I am not yet hungry. I'm fine. I'll just go upstairs and do something." I went to my room immediately not even thinking of hearing their replies. I sat on the bed for a while and then took a bath once again.

Since I've got nothing to do, I thought of chatting with my friends or video calling them. By the time that I logged into Skype, one contact is online and it's Damien. I realized that there's a part of me that misses him.

"Caitlyn." he smiled through the screen and I smiled back.

"Damien." I answered.

"How are you? I miss you." I can feel the sincerity in his voice.
