Chapter Twenty Five

"Love. gutom ka na.. ba?" napatigil ako nung makita ko si Venice na tulog sa hammock sa tabi ng beach.

lumapit ako sa duyan saka tinitigan sya.

she have this peaceful expression on her face. she's wearing a white dress and hugging a white pillow in a white hammock. she looks like an angel.

"My Angel." i whispered softly and kissed her forehead.

Venice's POV

"Love." i shouted when i entered the house. nakatulog kasi ako sa labas eh.

umakyat ako sa kwarto namin and he's there. sleeping. seeing him having a good sleep made me lay beside him and sleep too.

Lance's POV

pagbaling ko nasagi ko si Venice na tulog sa tabi ko.

napangiti nalang ako.

hinila sya papalapit sakin saka natulog ulit.

Venice's POV

"Love nagugutom na ko." i keep on shaking Lance shoulder kaso di nagigising di pa ko naglulunch eh. nakaunan ako sa braso nya habang nakapatong yung baba ko sa dibdib nya.

nung di pa sya gumising. tumayo na ko saka bumaba sa kusina. tinaas ko yung foodcover. may pagkain pa. kumain na ko. then prepared na din ako ng pagkaen ni Lance.

pagkatapos ko magluto lumabas muna ko saka naglakad lakad sa shoreline. i left my slippers in the balcony.

the ocean breeze is so refreshing. pinabayaan ko nalang na liparin ng hangin yung dress ko saka yung buhok ko.

i never felt this kind of peace for the past five years. since that incident.

coz in New York. i dont have time to watch sunset. appreciate little things. in NY. time is important. and that time i have to work my ass off just to support myself. i stopped admiring sunsets and started embracing my new life.

i dont have time to waste. which suits me just right. coz i dont have to think about him and that incident that pushed me away. everytime i went home in my apartment in NY. i'm always bushed and all i can do is drop dead on my bed but now i'm back. i can appreciate sunsets again.

"Malamig dito Love." Lance said softly and hugged me from behind. napangiti nalang ako saka sumandal sa kanya.

funny things is. i dont get cold while i was walking earlier but right now. when Lance hugged me. ngayon ko lang naramdaman yung lamig.

"bat nasa labas ka?" he whispered and put his face beside mine.

"tulog ka eh. gusto ko lang maglakad." i replied.

"panu di matutulog tinulugan mo rin ako." i chuckled and kissed his cheeks.

"sorry Love. kumain ka na ba?" he nodded. kinuha nya yung kamay ko saka hinila.

"San tayo pupunta?" he asked. basta ko nalang sya hinila papunta sa duyan.

"Hihiga? i dont want to sleep inside. kuha ka kumot saka unan Love." i said smilling. nanlaki nalang yung mata nya.

"You serious?" he asked.

i smiled widely.

"Hell yeah! i am."

Margarette's POV

"Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggghhhhh!" i throwed my phone on the wall.

i cant contact Lance. one week na. i went in his office last thursday and Elise said he's on leave. when i went in his house. wala din daw. out of town daw.

with his wife!

ibinato ko yung hawak kong baso.

i worked so hard. i stoop so low. hindi ako papayag na mabalewala lang lahat ng effort ko. hindi ako papayag na mawawala lang si Lance ng ganun.

"if there's anything i wanted so badly. that's you Lance. gods be damned but i'm having you. by hook or by crook."
