Chapter Twenty Eight

"Aw! Lex! masakit. dahan dahan lang naman!" mangiyak ngiyak na ko.

"Sorry Ven." she said softly and carefully wrapped the bandage to my swollen foot.

"Masakit." umiiyak na ko. ngayon ko nararamdaman na masakit yung paa ko.

"uy. wag ka namang umiyak. you want me to take you to the hospital?" she asked worriedly. umiling nalang ako saka pinunasan yung luha ko.

"matulog ka na Ven. i'll be at the other room. baka masipa ko kasi yung sprain mo pag dito ako natulog eh. call me if you need anything okay?" i nodded

paglabas ni Alexis inabot ko yung ipad na nasa sidetable. sumandal ako sa headboard bago naglaro ng UnblockMe. past 8pm na. pero naiiyak talaga ako kasi di ako sinundan ni Lance kanina. kaya nya na kong tiisin?

umiiyak na tuloy ako. bwisit na Lance yun! nasprain na ko't lahat lahat. work pa din. i sniffed softly. baka magising si Alexis eh.

"Love." napatingin ako sa nagsalita. si Lance nasa pinto. nakatingin sakin.

"Love, why are you crying?" he went near me and sat on the edge of the bed. beside me.

"kasi di mo na ko Love." then i cried harder.

Lance's POV

"Kasi di mo na ko Love." she said then cried. i chuckled and hugged her.

"bat mo naman nasabi yan?" i asked while smilling.

"Kaya mo na kong tiisin." she sniffed and cried.

"Kung kaya kitang tiisin bat nandito ako?" i replied and kissed her forehead.

"Akala ko di mo ko susunduin eh." shes still crying.

"Tahan na Love." i kissed her hair and wiped her tears. "eto na nga ako oh? kanina pa kita binabantayan eh. does it hurt?" i asked pertaining to her swollen foot.

she nodded and cried again. i hugged her again.

"Stop crying Love." i kissed her swollen foot. she chuckled a little.

"Madumi kaya yang paa ko." she smiled and wiped her tears using the back of her hand. i kissed her hand and carefully laid her on the bed. i laid beside her and hugged her.

"we'll go home tomorrow." i whispered and kissed her lips. "Goodnight. My Love."

Venice's POV

'Looks like kiss and make up happened last night. thank you for letting me stay. call you soon. Love you

napangiti nalang ako saka kinuha yung note ni Alexis sa Ref bago nagstart magluto ng breakfast namin. patapos na kong magluto nung may bumuhat saken saka inupo ako sa stool.

"Ang kulit mo Love. may sprain na. lakad pa ng lakad." he kissed my forehead. sya na din nagtuloy nung niluluto ko. ampopo.

"kaya ko naman eh." i said and pouted. umiling lang sya. sya na nag ayos ng kakainin namin.

"pag napano ka nanaman eh." he served the food infront of me and sat beside me.

"Kain na Love ko." i chuckled when i heard the 'Ko'. i kissed his cheeks and started eating.

"Dito lang tayo?" tanong ko kay Lance na kakalabas lang ng banyo.

"uh-uh. rest day tayo today. no work or anything." he smiled at me and carried me to sit in his Lap.

"bribing me? nakipag bati naman na ko kagabi ha?" i chuckled and kissed his cheeks.

"Heh! this is no Bribe. i'm gonna spend the day with you. para masiguro kong mapapahinga mo yung paa mo." napangiti naman ako dun.

"Namimiss mo lang ata ako eh!" i teased. tumawa lang sya ng malakas saka niyakap ako.

"yeah..lagi naman kitang namimiss eh."

Margarette's POV

"this will benefit the both of us." tumango lang yung kausap ko saka ngumiti.

"just make sure it'll go as planned. i've been patient for too long." his voice trailed off. i smiled at him.

"Of course. very very soon. lets cheers to that." i raised my glass and took a sip of margarita.

soon, i'll have him.

and this man infront of me will have his fair share of our plan.
