Chapter Fifty Four

"What the hell Kuyaa?!" i blurted loud! sino ba namang di mashoshock. si kuya nakaupo sa sala. umiinom ng beer.

tumingin sya saken saka sinamaan ako ng tingin. syempre kung sila ate saka si kuya anton nag iwas ng tingin. ako matapang. sinalubong ko ng tingin si Kuya.

"wow Kuya! Finally. nahanap mo rin si Ate." i said sarcastically.

"why didnt you tell me she's here all along?!" he said with gritted teeth.

"Now Kuya. why would i tell you? just to refresh your memory. you pushed her away right?" napatiim bagang lang si kuya. i shot him a bored look.

"Babe. akyat lang kami kay Venice ha?" tumango nalang ako sa kanila.

"anu bang ginagawa mo dito kuya? why are you even here? " i asked him.

"I wanna marry her okay!" he firmly replied

"why kuya? why do you wanna marry her?!" i asked him again and crossed my arms

"what for? i wanna give our baby one complete family. masama ba yon?" tinignan nya ko. "tas sasabihin nya saken magpakasal ako mag isa? darn!"

"tama si Ate. magpakasal ka mag isa mo kuya. kung di ka ba naman sira ulo. sasabihin mo sa kanya na gusto mo syang pakasalan para sa baby? Kuya take your head off your ass. its not a hat!" sumunod din ako sa taas. bwisit talaga si Kuya. napaka- Uggggh!

"ang insensitive mo Kuya! magpakamatay ka na talaga!"

"Marry him for the baby's sake? nakakaasar sya!" pinunasan ko yung luhang tumulo sa pisngi ko. sa sobrang asar ko sa kanya naiiyak ako.

"baka naman hindi naman talaga yon yung sasabihin nya." Alexis said softly while calming me.

"Eh ano pala yung sasabihin nya Alex? sige nga. ikaw nalang magsabi samin." Andrea said with a frown. naasar din kay Lance.

"Lets be open minded Ands. There could be a lot of explanation for this you know." Alexis replied.

"Hep. Cut!" Anton shouted. "Lets not interfere okay? let them resolve their issues girls. pabayaan nyo na kaya sila. they're grown ups Girls."

"Kay, Whatever!" Andrea rolled her eyes.

"Tama na nga. bat ba kayo nag aaway? di naman kayo yung niyaya ng kasal eh! ako kaya!" nag unahan nanamang tumulo yung luha ko. nakakaasar kasi.

Sana pala yung baby nalang pakasalan nya. baby's sake lang pala gusto nya eh. i even thought na kaya nya ko hinahanap kasi mahal nya ko. yun pala hindi nanaman.

"Uy V! tahan na. ayan ka nanaman. yang baby mo ipaglilihi mo sa sama ng loob. bahyaan!" Anton rolled his eyes on me. i smiled sadly.

"Pauwiin nyo muna yon. may red velvet sa baba. iwan nyo muna ko." magproprotesta sana si Andrea kaso hinila na sya nung dalawa. paglabas nila humiga ako sa kama saka niyakap yung unan ni Lance don.

"Lance umuwi ka daw muna." Yan ang sabi sakin ni Anton pagbaba nya ng hagdan.

"No way! i need to talk to her." tumayo na ko para sana umakyat sa taas pero hinarang ako ni Alexis.

"Lance. stress is not good for her. palipasin mo muna yung maghapon. you can come back tomorrow if you want. its just that now isnt the perfect timing to talk to her. please Lance." She said pleadingly. i sighed and walked out of our house.

imagine. i was asked to leave from my own house? how ironic.

"Ang lakas naman kasi ng sapak sa ulo ng kuya mo Babe. bat naman kasi mag aaya ng kasal for the baby's sake." umiiling na sabi ni Kuya Anton saken.

"minsan nga naiisip ko ampon siguro si Kuya. imagine naman kasi mga Ate. my parents are smart. i am smart. then kuya is stupid and dumb. dont get me wrong mga ate. i love my brother so much. i dont disrespect him or anything. i just dont get the way he thinks. he can sack a billions worth of contract. sarili nyang love life hindi kayang ayusin?" i said exasperated and shook my head.

"Baby. Even smart people becomes stupid when it comes to heart matters. Lance use his head to decide for love matters. when it shouldnt be like that. sometimes brains doesnt have the right solution to our problem. sometimes you have to let your heart to rule over your head." Ate Alexis explained. she even touched my head and my chest when she said this.

"but Lance's stupidity is unbeatable Lex. very unbelievable." napailing na sabi ni Ate Andrea.

"yeah. i dont even know where he got that." i said softly and sighed.

nag usap pa kami tungkol kay kuya tas maya maya bumaba si Ate Ven. bagong gising ata.

"You had your dinner already?" She asked. paglapit nya samin yumakap agad kay kuya Anton saka sumandal sa dibdib nya.

"Ven. anu ba yaan. Di tayo talo. layo nga!" Nandidiring sabi ni Kuya Anton. natawa kaming tatlo.

"Pag tinulak mo ko rareypin kita." Ate replied. lalo tuloy kaming natawa. pinaglilihian talaga ni Ate to si Kuya Anton. naglokohan pa kami bago nagkaayaan na umuwi. si Ate Alexis maiiwan kay ate ngayong gabi. paghatid sakin ni Kuya Anton dumiretso na ko papasok ng Mansion. at pag akyat ko nag aantay sakin si kuya sa sofa don. shit.

"bat di mo sinabi sakin na nandito lang pala sya?" Tanong ko kay Leila pagkakita ko sa kanya.

"i already answered that question kuya." she replied formally. "Anything else? pagod ako. i wanna get some rest."

"Leila, kapatid ba kita? why wont you help me? why do you have to keep it away from me?" i said exasperated. darn. para kasi akong pinagkaisahan eh.

"Yes Kuya. i'm your sister. thats why i never tolerated that stupid act of yours. pagbalik palang ni Ate i've been pushing you to tell her what you really feel. akala mo ba hindi ko alam na di mo naman talaga mahal si Ate Alaine? na you just have to be with her kasi halos masira yung ulo nya kakahanap kay J? but no. you did not listen. instead, you went on with this little charade of yours including that phony engagement. just great kuya. that little show cost you your wife and your baby. so never question me with our ties kuya. coz i've been pushing you to follow your happiness all along. ikaw ang nagpahirap sa situation mo." mahabang sabi nya bago ako nilayasan.

how can a 12 year old think that way? how can a 12 year old make me feel useless and stupid? coz admit it or not. she's right. she's never said anything about my relationship with Alaine but she never agreed to it too. never for once she supported me with that. how can she know better than i am?

pumasok na ko sa kwarto ko sa mansion. i'm not in the mood to drive back to my condo.

oh god. i miss my wife so damn much!
