I stared at him speechless. He just stood there not saying a word, just giving a look that could kill. I tried to outsmart him by running past him, but he was too quick for me. He chuckles.
"Aww, you're hilarious." He put the gun against my head and took off my hood. His eyes changed a bit, but soon returned to a pair of cold ones.
"You know, you run pretty fast for a girl," I tried to wriggle free from his grasp causing him to hold on tighter.
"How much did you see?" He whispered, but loudly. Almost yelling in a whisper. I just looked away from him keeping my mouth shut.
"Oh, so now you're not going to talk?" He yelled in my face which only made me more scared, you were able to hear my heart beating quickly from a mile away. Well this is the end for me, I thought. What in the world was I thinking when I said I could make it on my own. I haven't even been here for 24 hours, now look at where I'm at now. Oh how I was wrong about everything. He pulled me quickly, with his back hunched over looking around to make sure no one was in sight. One hand had the gun that was pointed to my head, the other covering my mouth just made me think of that horror movie I watched the other day, I thought of the ending. How pleasant.
He walked me into an empty parking lot, I started to silently cry. He felt the tears considering that he loosened his grip. We walked towards a car which I was guessong belonged to him. He threw me in the passenger seat and locked it before I could get out. I started sobbing, why me out of all people? He quickly got into the drivers seat and started the car still with the gun pointing at me. He began to drive out the parking lot, into the quiet city. I stopped crying, but was still shaking. It was cold and I felt even more empty than I've ever been. He slowly began to put the gun down at a stop sign inspecting my face. He looked back at the road.
"What's your name?" He asked with no emotion, I stayed silent. He waited for an answer, but didn't receive one.
"Fine. I'm Matthew, Matty for short." He said, obviously not in the mood. Considering he just kidnapped
"Now, will you just tell me your name?"
"No," I said finally looking him in the eye. He nodded his head. He continued to drive in silence as I looked out the window, he cleared his throat.
"What's your favorite color?" He asked, trying to give a small smile. I gave him the look of 'are you serious?'. For crying out loud he just kidnapped me and now he wants to know my favorite color? What in the world is wrong with him. I turned back to the window. My stomach growled this time.
"Are you hungry?" He asked, trying to be polite.
"No,"
"Is your favorite word no or something?" I nodded, looking out the window.
"Look, I can stop by somewhere, I don't want you to die due of starvation." I turned to him.
"Are you sure? How about I die due to you shooting me just like the guy in the alleyway!"
"Look, that's a different story so why don't you shut up!" He yelled. "All I am trying to do is help but your being all stubborn and shit."
Stubborn? Oh, I'm sorry. Maybe you don't understand what you just did. I should just he peachy. I shook my head at his statement then looked outside since that's the only thing I can do right now. It was nothing but darkness. No stars. No moon. Nothing but pitch darkness. He continued to drive until we had reached a motel. He parked and got out.
"Don't move," he said.
That's it.
