Did i mention that i could make the occasional portal?
No? Well, now you know.
It takes a lot of energy, so i cant do this often
Anyway, we appeared in a grassy lawn.
Strait on the grass.
"Ouch." Jim said as the three of us stood up
"What was that?" Spock asked
I brushed grass off my red shirt "I got us away from them. We have to stay low until we get all of this sorted out. We can't just rot in a prison for something we didnt do."
"Yes. And now we are being hunted down by the federation." Spock said
I glared at him "Hey, if you wanna go to Kronos prison. Fine. I won't stop you."
Then i turned and walked away
I was followed by Jim and Clieo, and sooner or later, Spock
"Where are we?" Jim asked me
I sighed "We need answers. So, we need someone who might actually know what's going on."
"Khan." Clieo said grimly
I nodded "He might be the one who knows what's going on."
Then Jim frowned at me "Were you always able to make portals?"
I nodded "It drains a lot of energy, but I'll manage."
I walked a bit wobbly, but i was fine
"Where exactly are we?" Spock asked
"Iowa." I answered "This was the latest place Khan was seen. You guys wait for me by that building over there," i told them pointing to a small building that was a rest stop
"Why?" Jim asked
"Because," i said "you and Khan aren't exactly on, good terms."
"Khan and i are fine already, remember?" Jim asked
"I know you two are. But not Spock." I said
"I'll watch the boys." Clieo said
"Fine. We'll wait." Jim said, leading Clieo and Spock to the rest stop
I walked around Iowa for a while until i heard a riot
Naturally, i jogged to it
I saw an Iowan fighting with a familiar figure
It was Khan
And he was beating some guy up in a corner
Khan punched the guy in the face and the Iowan fell unconcious
Khan was about to stomp on him, before i stopped him
"Stop it!" I shouted
Khan turned to me, he looked confused "Scarlett?"
I grinned "Good. You remember me."
He walked over to me, completely forgetting the unconcious Iowan "What are you doing here?"
"I need your help, Khan." I said "We need your help."
Khan grinned "You, Jim, and the Vulcan need my help?"
I rolled my eyes "Dont get so big-headded, Khan. Your involved in this too, Khan."
He frowned "How so?"
"Follow me." I said as i turned to the rest stop
Jim was there, and so was Spock
They were sitting on a couch behind a table
Spock stood up as soon as he saw Khan, and stalked toward him
"You have some nerve to show your face here again." Spock said
"Yes, yes, Spock. I am perfectly aware of your thoughts of me." Khan said, not even flinching from Spock's glare
"Guys," i said, pushing myself between them "i'm sure both of you would be so happy to kill each other to your heart's content, but we need each other if we're gonna figure this all out."
"Fine." Spock said, taking a seat
After we've all settled down (more or less) Jim updated Khan about what happened
"How did this happen?" Khan asked
Jim shrugged "Even we don't know. But one things for sure, somebody scammed us. The four of us."
"And now we're being hunted by the federation." I added
"So, you need my help." Khan said
"No. Not really." Spock said "You are involved in this as well."
"Fine." Khan said "But we wont get far without a ship."
I nodded "I know. That's why i called a friend."
Jim frowned "The Phoenix?"
I shook my head "No. They wouldn't want to get into trouble with the federation."
"Who then?" Jim asked
I smirked "Ever heard of the Renegades?"
Jim's eyes widened "Oh no..."
I nodded "Oh yes."
