I beamed into Star Fleet Helipad carrier
I was so in a hurry, i didn't even bother to change
When i beamed there, Bones was waiting
"Scarlett!" Bones said "Thank God your here."
"Yeah. Hi Bones." I said, distracted
"Where is he?" I asked
"Come with me." Bones said, then he ran down the corridor
I ran after him

When we got to the room, i saw Jim
He was on a bed, hopefully just sleeping
The vitals monitor was almost sound less
That was never a good sign
"Is he...?" I couldn't say the last word. If Bones said no...
Luckily, Bones answered, "He's barely alive. Plus, he's in a coma."
I sat next to Jim on the bed "Is there something you can do?"
The doctor shrugged, hopelessly "I'm not sure that I can do anything else. It will take a miracle for it to happen or a-"
"Life share?" I asked
Bones nodded "Yeah. But Keith-" his eyes widened "Wait. You can do that too!"
I nodded and shrugged "Here goes nothing."
I took Jim's hand. I have to he honest, I've never done this before. But Keith explained it... More or less
I squeezed his hand. I closed my eyes and concentrated
The star shaped scar on my palm suddenly grew bright. A blue light shone around the room
Bones had to cover his eyes from the light.
When the light faded, my hands felt hot
I let go of Jim's hand and shook my hands
"Hot. Hot, hot, hot, hot..." I said, still shaking my hands
I stood up, but that life-share thing really took a lot. Bones had to help me balance
"Did it- did it work?" I asked
"I dunno." Bones answered
Well, that was reassuring
Then we heard a BEEP sound. Followed by another, then another
"Oh, God..." Bones said
He rushed to the gadget that checks your vitals
A smile grew across his face "It worked..."
My eyes widened "Really?"
Bones laughed "It really worked! He's alive, Scarlett! Alive!"
"Okay, stop it Bones." I said "Your starting to make Jim sound like Frankenstein."
Bones scowled, but only for a moment
"When will he wake up?" I asked
"In a few minutes. But that hot really dealt some damage. It maybe a few hours-" Bones answered
Then, Jim started to cough. His blue eyes suddenly opened
"Or now." Bones said "He could wake up now."
"Jim!" I said, running up to him. I could've hugged him, but i was afraid I'd suffocate him
"Hey," Jim said, weakly "What did i miss?"
I scowled "James Tiberious Kirk, don't you ever do that to me again! So help me i will-"
Jim laughed "It's good to see you too, Scarlett."
"I'll leave you two alone." Bones said, rushing out of the room
I smiled and hugged him "That was the stupidest idea ever, Kirk."
Jim smirked "I know. I'm full of them."
I laughed, for the first time in days, I laughed
Jim smiled "I missed that sound."
I smiled "And I missed this."
I kissed him. I felt him smile, and he kissed me back
"I love you, Scarlett Ruewen." Jim told me
I smiled "I love you too, Jim Kirk."
