We all ran to the Bridge
When we got there, all eyes turned on us
"Hey, Guys." Clieo said, casually "Miss us?"
I turned to face Daren, who stood up and turned to face us
"Daren, get off my ship." I told him "Your going to pay for your crimes."
Daren smiled, smugly "Your too late, Kirk. Besides, after this, the federation will regret everything they did to us." He said. Then, he turned back into his own self. Black hair and amber eyes.
"There's no need for hiding anymore." He said "The federation will pay for what they have done to us. This ship is set to crash on Earth in a matter of time."
"Why would you crash the Enterprise on Earth?" Khan asked
Denria smirked "Think about it."
I finally realized what they were going to do.
Earth was the federation's biggest alliance planet. Also, the most vulnerable
"Your going to crash the Enterprise on the federation's HQ on Earth." I said
"Your smarter than you look, Kirk." Daren said "This ship will crash land on the federation's HQ and they'll regret everything they did to us."
"So," Scarlett said, surprisingly calm "If we're all just gonna die, at least admit that you six were the ones who did all of those crimes and framed us for doing them."
Denria frowned "What good will that do?"
Clieo shrugged "Just to let everyone here who's gonna die know the truth, i guess."
Daren shrugged "Fine. We were the one who did those crimes. We used our abilities to look like you five, and we framed you for doing it."
Then, Scarlett gave one of her cold smiles that made me happy that she was on our side "Thanks for saying that. Did you get that, Admiral?"
The Morphus all frowned
"What are you-?" Ferren started to ask, but he was cut off
"Yes, miss Ruewen. We got eveything." Said a voice from behind
I smirked
Here's what happened. While we distracted the Morphus, Scarlett transmitted Nyota a message to hail Admiral Thompson.
We made the Morphus admit everything, while Admiral Thompson listened and recorded everything
"Good work, all of you. When i present this video to the councilors, I'm sure they'll let you off the hook." Thompson said, then he turned to the Morphus "As for you six, your going to think of everything you did. The federation-"
"Won't live after this." Daren interrupted. He nodded to Drios, who took out a small PADD like gadget
I had no idea what that was, but Scarlett seemed to know what it was
She gasped "A Starship hacker."
Drios smirked "Yes, these things hack into any Starship system. Including the engines."
He pressed a button, and the whole room's lights turned red again. Admiral Thompson's hail disapeared.
"Say goodbye to your precious ship, Kirk." Daren said
"Captain," Sulu said "All engines are down. We're going to crash."
I nodded to Scarlett, Clieo, Spock, and Khan
They drew their phasers and stunned the Morphus. They lay unconscious on the floor
"Make sure they don't get up." I said. Then, i took back my seat.
I spoke into the communicator "Scotty? What's happening down there?"
Scotty spoke back "Those damn Morphus hacked into the engine systems. By the time we get them going, it'll be too late."
I cursed.
"Jim," Spock said "we may not be able to prevent it."
Khan frowned "How?"
"We can still change the direction of the crash, yes?" Spock asked
Sulu nodded "Yes. We still can."
"Then, just set the crash course for a body of water." Spock said "That will absorb the impact."
"But there's only one problem." Sulu said
"What's that?" Clieo asked
"Someone has to stay and drive the ship into water." Sulu said
"Oh, god..." Scarlett said
"I'll do it." I said
"Jim, no!" Scarlett said "You can't. You'll die."
"I have too, Scarlett." I told her "I'm the Captain of the ship. It's my job."
Before she could say anything else, i injected a mild sedation in her arm and she went limp
I caught her "All of you get to the escape pods. Now."
"But, Kirk-" Spock started to say, but i cut him off
"Spock," i said "let me do this. Now, get off this ship before i sedate you too."
I knew Spock wanted to protest, but he reluctantly agreed. I handed Scarlett's limp body over to Bones
"Good luck, Jim." Bones said
I clasped his shoulder "Good knowing you, Bones."
They all left leaving me on a ship that's about to crash
I sat down on the chair and strapped myself on it
I set the course to the nearest body of water I could find
It was the Pacific ocean
The course was set, but the ship was still unstable. I couldn't leave, since the ship might still be affected by the virus the Morphus used to hack in the Enterprise
There was no turning back. I had to do this
So, i kept my mind on other things
My friends, Spock, Bones, Pavel, Clieo, Sulu, and the whole crew
Including, Scarlett. I couldn't bare to see her face when she finds out. . .
But i had to do this
For her, for everyone
There really was no turning back
