Sehun didn't hear from Namjoo for a few days. He thought about dropping by her place to see her, but thought twice about it. Namjoo probably didn't want to see him as much as he wanted to see her. Countless times he had to remind himself that this was only a one-sided affair.

He was shocked though, when one night Namjoo appeared on his doorstep as she had that one night during the first month of their relationship.

"Beer? Chicken?"

He watched her walk in kind of dumbfounded, but exhilarated by her appearance.

"I thought you cut your alcohol?" he wondered.

"Doesn't mean I don't do it every once in a while," Namjoo told opening her beer can.

Sehun watched her eat messily before handing her some napkins. Instead Namjoo pulled him toward her and tiptoed up to give him a strong kiss.

"I want you," she tugged on his shirt and unable to resist pinned her to the wall to kiss her.

Namjoo's arms locked around his neck as he clutched onto her waist before his hands traveled down to her legs and hoisted her up. Their heavy breathing stilled the air when Namjoo locked her legs around him as her lips traced his face to his ears. Sehun wanted to dig his face in her breasts, touch her soft skin, and have her arms around him.

His kisses became more passionate, his lips speaking of his love for her into her lips hoping she would receive his feelings. Her tongue wedged into his orifice as his body pulsated against hers.

Namjoo squeezed his shoulders as she further leaned into him. Finally spinning away from the wall he backtracked into his bedroom and dropped her on the bed before climbing over her. His knees landed on both side of her waist before leaning down to playfully nip at her collarbone.

Sehun could feel his body growing stern and reached his hands down to undo her pants before Namjoo suddenly grabbed his arms.

"W...wait," Namjoo called out, "Sehun I...I turned in my resignation letter."

His hands froze before he sat up; the excitement in his body immediately dissipating as he stared down at her. Turning in her resignation letter meant she was ready to leave. She was ready to rid of him, say goodbye forever. Namjoo hadn't thought about staying for him. So...she had come over to say goodbye?

"I...I need to use the bathroom," he got off her and walked into the bathroom closing the door after him.

No. He wasn't prepared for this. He didn't want to bid her farewell. Why was she being so cold?

Leaning his head against the wall he closed his eyes and heaved a deep sigh. When he stepped back out Namjoo was gone.

She didn't want him. Namjoo just wanted to get rid of him. The feelings of realization struck him so hard he couldn't find it in himself to contact her the upcoming days. He sunk into a dark pit in the loneliness of his apartment.

Many nights he spent staring at the couple shirt and dug his head back into his bed to relive the memories of their few dates. His heart was aching for the first time in a long time.

Namjoo knew she couldn't stay any longer. She was getting far too attached to Sehun and she didn't want it to be like that. She couldn't cross the line, tell him she loved him, and hoped for him to love her in return. That was playing the game of a fool and Namjoo didn't want that. It would hurt her pride to say she loved him and listen to him tell her he didn't love her.

She packed up the rest of her belonging from her office and walked out the next week. She spent a few days calling and searching up places in Daegu, met up with her friends, and stayed inside. Namjoo had sleepless nights and she missed Sehun's company, but she couldn't go to him. She wouldn't go to him.
