Chapter Four: Meeting Ashton

Emily's POV

He deepened the kiss, and I realised I had to stop. I pulled away from him and I got up and walked away and of the roof and sat on the stairs and my mind just went blank.

Calum's POV

When Emily pushed me away it was surprising, then she walked of the roof-top leaving me alone. The kiss it wasn't something I do, if people find out she'll get hurt. I don't know why I kissed her I don't even like her wait do I? No no i can't if the principle finds out he could call her parents to come and take her out of here.

I got my phone back out and went looking into my contacts and clicked on one and pressed it against my ear.

"Hello?"

"Hey it's Calum listen I need a favour." I said

"Calum you know I'll get killed right?"

"Michael please I need you to gets some info on this girl." I said to him

"Oh have you got a girlfriend now Hood?"

"No she a friend please trust me she not like any of the other girls I've been with." I waited for him then I heard him coughing on the other line.

"Ok what's her name?"

"Emily" I said to him I heard him sigh

"That helps Emily who?" He asked

"I don't know but she one of those rich girls." I said to him

"I'll find something I'll call you back if I have anything."

"Ok thanks man." I hung up and went to find Emily.

Emily's POV

I was sitting under the tree that Calum first took me to, all I could think about was that kiss. Why would Calum do that? I'm not his type of girl if my dad found out he would kill Calum.

"Hey Emily." I looked up to see a boy about Calum's age maybe older he had a Australian accent.

"Hi?" I didn't even know him so how did he know me.

"I'm Ashton I'm Calum's best friends well one of them." Ashton then sat down next to me.

"Listen Calum isn't all bad it's just he lost this girls trust all long time ago, and he doesn't want it to repeat. I mean a rich, polite, well behaved girl with a trouble maker, Australian guy great mix." He said I laughed it's nice to know where he's from.

"So how did you find this place?" Ashton asked me

"Calum showed me before maths." I told him Ashton looked shocked.

"Calum has never show a girl this place, looks like he might a soft spot for you Emily." Ashton said. Really Calum has a soft spot for me no way impossible.

"I don't think so I only met him today."I told him and Ashton laughed at me.

"Calum is over protective with you did you see in math class how he grabbed you hand, come on even his ex saw it." Ashton finished.

"Was his ex the girl with the tattoo?" I asked him he nodded.

"So are you going to tell Calum where I am then?" I asked him he shook his head.

"No plus it's almost time for lessons time goes slow here, come on I'll take you to your next class." Ashton put his hand out for me to grab, he pulled me up.

"Come on I think we should run just so we're not late." Ashton grabbed my hand and started running I was running behind him as far as my legs could run Ashton stopped. Ashton opened the door to see the class already sitting down.

"Ah Ashton I see your with the new student. Emily I presume." The teacher asked me I nodded.

"Sorry miss I was just showing her the routes around school." Ashton told the teacher. I looked around and saw Calum he didn't look happy to see Ashton and me walking in together. Me and Ashton went to sit down together before I felt someone pull me down on a chair I looked it was Calum. Was Calum jealous of me and Ashton besides I don't like Ashton like that.

"Where were you?" Calum whispered/snapped at me.

"I was with Ashton talking." I whispered back to him I guess he kinda was jealous.
