Chapter Eleven:Drumming Lessons Part 1
Emily's POV
After Calum left,my dad came home a few minutes later, but when he walked into my room I had my clothes folded up and put into different piles. Mom used to do this when I was young when I was playing with my dolls she would always fold up my clothes nice and tidy.
"What are you doing Emily?" My father asked me as I just kept folding my t-shirts.
"Folding my clothes dad." I said concentrating on folding than looking at him.
"It's rude to not look at someone while you're talking to them, I guess you're mother didn't teach you that very well." I looked at my dad angry.
"And you did you weren't even there for me. You've never ever been there for me. You didn't come to moms funeral either." I said angry and upset, I felt tears run down my cheeks and my hands started to shake.
"I was at a very important meeting, and I didn't know you're mother died that day." My dad said I got up and grabbed a bag putting some clothes in and shoes. I grabbed my phone and charger.
"Where are you going?" My dad asked me I ignored him walking past him and down the hall and then down the stairs I put my shoes on a texted Calum telling him to pick me up now, he replied with on his way.
"Don't you dare ignore you're father." I didn't listen I opened the door and slamming it behind it. Then I heard the door open behind me. I turned around to my father.
"Emily you can't leave here you've got no where to go." I turned back around to see Calum pulling up to the street. I looked back at my dad and saw a angry expression on his face. "You are not going with him, he's back for you!" I turned back around and ran to Calum's car and getting in.
"What's happening?" Calum asked me I shook my head telling him I would tell him later. I looked out the window and seeing my dad on the phone with someone,Calum started driving to his house (well the guys' house). I could feel Calum look at me every couple minutes until we got to the house. I got out the car with my bag of stuff I had with me and waited for Calum to walked with me.
"Emily what happened there?" Calum asked me I sighed as he opened the door for us I walked in and walked into the living room with Calum behind me. "Emily please tell me... I want to know what's wrong."
"My dad blamed my mom for the way I am, saying that she didn't teach me to looking at people while talking to them. I got angry started saying he was never there for me and he wasn't there for my moms funeral." I said sitting down on the couch with Calum.
"Do you want to stay here for a while I mean you can sleep in my room while I'll stay down here." Calum said to me.
"No I'll stay down here you don't have to."
"How about you both just spilt the bed put a pillow in the middle of you." Ashton said walking in and sitting down.
"Ok I'll stay just for a while then I'll have to go back to my dads." I said.
"Hey and maybe while you're here I could teach you how to play the drums." Ashton said to me I nodded.
"Come on then Calum can I borrow her?" Ashton asked Calum I looked at Calum he nodded. Ashton grabbed my hand talking me up to his room where his drum kit was.
"Let's have you're first lesson."
