Chapter Twenty-Six

Hey guys I'm so so sorry for the late update I promise it's not gonna be like this again.

Calum's POV

When the principle got off the coach with students behind I ran into the crowd of people trying to get to Emily, I was pushing past people who I knew.

When I got close to the front I saw Emily coming off the bus, she looked quite sexy in her uniform. I pushed some people until I got to her. I grabbed her and pulled her into a hug.

"Ahah hi Calum." Emily laughed.

"People are staring at us." She told me. I pulled away but I still hand my hands on her waist.

"I don't care." I told her, then I heard someone cough making us both look behind me. I saw Kate smirking and Ashton looking awkward at us with the people behind them looking at us weirdly including her classmates. I slowly pulled my hands of her waist, people were still staring, but most stop and started to walk back into the school to go to the gymnasium to get a seat for the game.

"Can we go to gymnasium now please?" Ashton asked us making me laugh and nodded I grabbed Emily's hand gently and pulled her with me, making her laugh.

We walked into the gymnasium.

"Emily go and sit down with Kate over there." I pointed to two seats that were free.

"What about you and Ashton?" She asked me.

"Don't worry about us just go and sit down." I kissed her check and pushed her towards the seats, with Kate.

Emily's POV

Me and Kate went to sit down were Calum told us to sit. I asked Kate where Ashton and Calum both went but she just smiled at me and told me to watch because the game was about to start. Then my team started coming out getting boos and cheers, some of them acted stupid in the hall while some look and started smirking while looking at the girl in the other school.

"Well then." Kate said laughing then making me laugh. And then there were cheers as four other people came out onto the pitch.

"Oh my god is that Luke and Michael with them?" I asked Kate surprised.

"Yeah they're singing and then the game will start and then they'll sing at the end." Kate told me, making me smile I haven't heard Calum's voice so I'm excited to hear them all. Everyone left the court except for Calum, Luke, Ashton and Michael.

"What the hec-! What are they doing?" Oh wow this is gonna be fun.

"Hey guys we're Five Seconds Of Summer." They all said in unison making me giggle.

"And now that we finally got to perform to make this game more entertaining for all of you." Michael said through the mic making everyone giggle.

"And now we're gonna sing our own song it's called Disconnected." Luke said making everyone cheer. Then it all went silent and then Luke started to play. And then Ashton joined.

'Life's a tangled web.Off cell phone calls and hashtag I-don't-knows.And you, you're so caught up. In all the blinking lights and dial tones,I admit I'm a bit of a victim in the world, wide system too.But I found my sweet escape when I'm alone with you.'

The guitar and the drums were amazing when Luke was singing making me have a wide smile.

'Tune off the static, sound of the city, that never sleeps. Here in the moment, on the dark side of the screen.' I looked at Kate and she was just smiling, I looked back to see Calum singing.

Calum's POV

'I like the summer rain, I like the sounds you make. We put the world away. We get so disconnected. You are my getaway, you are my favourite place. We put the world away, yeah we're so disconnected.' I sang into the microphone as I looked straight at Emily, I could see her face go red and a bright smile go on her face making me smile against the mic. I'm glad Emily makes me feel this way I haven't felt like this since Diana. And I'm glad Emily feels the same still.
