Chapter Eight: Hiding Part 1

Emily's POV

It's been a week since Calum and I got caught kissing by my dad, I've still been going to the behaviour school and I've been with Calum and Ashton. I've gotten to know them both, they both introduce me to some more people. I met a kind of nice girl Kate even though she had purple dyed hair and piercings she was really kind and nice to me. Calum told Ashton about our little make out and about my dad catching us, Ashton teases us every chance he gets. It's funny at times, but Calum and I get embarrassed too.

Every night I come home my dad asks me if I was with Calum or any boy I say no all the time. I tell him I'm with my new friend Kate.

"So are you and Calum like fuck buddies or more than that?" Kate asked me with a little smirk on her face, as she sat on my swing set in my backyard.

"We're just friends we might have kissed but that doesn't mean anything." I said sitting on the swing next to her.

"Really cause wasn't he you're first kiss and then didn't you're dad catch you making out with him on you're bed." Kate said to me. I shook my head laughing it might be true but there was nothing going on between me and Calum.

"Me and Calum are just friends." I said swinging.

"I mean he's sweet, kind cute attractive but that's it and he's plays the bass which is kinda hot." I said making Tillie laugh at me I started to blush my cheeks going bright red.

"You like Calum." Kate said swinging. Maybe I do maybe I don't.

Calum's POV

"So when can we meet Emily you're girlfriend?" Luke asked me.

"Any time and she's not my girlfriend." I said lighting a cigarette and placing it between my lips.

"Well how about tomorrow cause there's nothing going on for us." Michael said to me I looked at Luke and he nodded agreeing with him. Right now me, Luke, Michael and Ashton are sitting in Luke's playing video games.

"Hey put that out, my mom is coming to visit me. I don't want her to see you smoking inside." Luke grabbed my cigarette and putting it out and grabbing deodorant and spraying it around me and around where I'm sitting.

I got up from the chair.

"You going to Emily?" Ashton asked me I nodded walking towards the door.

"Bye." "Have fun...not too much fun." "Wear a condom." I heard the guys shout I laughed opening the door and walking out and closing it.

"Just walk in through back gate my dad isn't in he has a lot of meetings to go to." Emily said through the phone she sound different on the phone.

"Emily is Kate there?" I asked her I wanted to be with her alone just us.

"No she's just left, just come on."

"Ok give me a sec." Then we said our goodbye and I put my phone in my pocket and went to the entrance to the back. Emily unlocked it for me, I opened the gate and closing it behind me making sure I locked it properly.

"Took you're time." I heard Emily say.

"Emily I'm freaking out that you're dad mighty come and see us and kill me." I walked over to her hugging her. I tightened the hug, I started smiling I understand why the guys say that Emily's my girlfriend cause we act close to each other. I wasn't like this when I was with my last girlfriend.

"Come on the swings." Emily ran towards her swings I walked over to her and looked at her swing.

"Emily can I ask you something?" I asked her Emily nodded. "Do you like me?" I asked her she stopped swinging and looked at the ground,then she shrugged her shoulders.

"Calum after we kissed that's all I thought about what that kiss, because our first kiss in the school was my first kiss I'm just confused if you like me or not." When she said that was why we got teased by the others cause we kissed and I was her first.

"Emily it's been awhile since I've had a long relationship with someone but I'll try for you cause I like you too." I looked at her and her head was still looking at the ground but she had a little smile. I looked at the ground feeling embarrassed. I think I've ruined this friendship we have.
