I sat alone in the woods, I figured it would be best for me to stay out here. I was raised in the woods, I know how to survive. I heard a branch snap, I was on my feet instantly and was ready to run "hey! Hey! Hey! It's okay!" I heard a voice say, I turned round to see a blonde in a red jacket standing in front of me "I'm not gonna hurt you" she said walking over to me. I inched back slightly "where am I?" I barked, she looked slightly startled at my response "Storybrooke" she said simply. So this is the town that the Evil Queen created "where did you come from?" She asked simply. I smiled "I came over with the second curse" I explained, shock crossed her face. She offered me her hand "come on, I'll show you round town" she said kindly, I nodded but didn't take her hand. She didn't make any attempt to talk to me until we reached the Main Street "you hungry?" She asked, I nodded slightly as she ushered me towards a small diner "this is Granny's, I'll get you something to eat" she said kindly. We walked in and took a seat on the bar stools "hey Emma, what can I do for you?" Asked an elderly woman who I presumed was Granny, I smiled. I never officially got to meet her back in the Enchanted Forest but that never bothered me, the stories I heard was enough "um hot cocoa and grilled cheese for me and what do you want?" She asked turning to me, I shrugged "I'll have the same" I said quietly, Granny smiled and left us. I shifted awkwardly in my seat "what's your name anyway?" She asked, I gulped "Rosie" I stated as Granny set our hot chocolates down in front of us, I took a deep breath taking in all the scents around me, there was a wolf here... I took the cocoa in my hands and took a sip. "Who were you back in the Enchanted Forest?" Emma asked, I shrugged "no one important" I said with a frown, I'm mean how could I be important I'm merely 11 years old. She nodded "hey Em" said a voice from somewhere, I looked up to see a tall brunette who walked towards us and set down our grilled cheese "hey Ruby" said Emma with a smile, she looked over at me "who's this?" She asked motioning to me, I breathed in taking in her scent, she was the wolf. "Oh this is Rosie, Rosie this is Ru..." She started before I cut her off "Red" I said with a smile, I knew who she was. She spent a sum of time with our pack, I was 9 the last time I saw her, confusion crossed her face "you know me?" She questioned, I shrugged and nodded "your my sister" I thought to myself but kept quiet "well it's Ruby in this land" she said with a smile, I noticed Emma was already halfway done with her grilled cheese, I picked mine up and began eating. When we were finishing a few people walked over to us "hey Em" said the girl, i looked at her a bit closer "Snow White" i said quietly causing her eyes to drift to me, she gave me a kind smile "who's this?" She asked, Emma smiled "mom, dad this is Rosie, this is Mary Margaret and David" she explained, I heard a small laugh come from Snow "but it seems you know us from elsewhere" she smiled. David chuckled and I shrugged "never spoken to you but I know who you are" I stated "there's another wolf here" I heard Ruby hiss from somewhere in the diner, so she's picked up my scent... Time to leave "thank you for the food Emma but I should go, I don't want to bother you" I said jumping down from the stool "hey, come and stay with us. I'm not letting you go back to the woods" Emma offered, I sighed and nodded "come on" she said as she placed money down on the desk "thanks Granny!" She yelled gaining a smile from the elderly woman before walking out.
Emma took me to hers and her parents apartment and showed me round, we sat down in the kitchen after a while "so who were you back in our land?" Asked Snow, I flinched. Why was everyone asking me this? "Like I said to Emma, no one important" I stated, David sighed "you must've been of importance to someone. Do you have any family?" He asked, I chuckled "if only you knew" confusion crossed his face "what's so funny?" He asked, I shrugged and gave him a small smirk "I have family, they just don't know I exist" I explained, I heard Snow sigh. We sat there in silence for a while, Snow was about to speak when a knock came to the door, Snow got up and answered it "Ruby?" She question "shit" I thought to myself, she followed my scent "can I talk to you Mary Margaret?" She asked, Snow nodded and stepped outside "what's wrong Ruby?" I heard her asked "there's a wolf here, I followed its scent and it ends here" she explained as I listened into their conversation, a shiver ran down my spine "you okay Rosie?" Asked Emma breaking my concentration. I nodded and began listening again "come on in but I can assure you there isn't a wolf here" that was the last I heard before the door opened and the women came back in "everything okay?" Asked David, they nodded and Ruby's eyes landed on me. I shifted in my seat, I was a bit uncomfortable with her staring "you" she gasped, I looked into her eyes and smiled "what?" I played. Her eyes narrowed "your a wolf? Your like me?" She questioned, all eyes were on me. I broke my gaze with Red "yes" I stated, a smile crossed Reds face "I haven't seen another wolf since..." She trailed off, I frowned "since the black Knights found the den" I finished, shock crossed her face. She walked over and sat next to me "you were there?" She asked, I nodded "I never saw you" Red continued. I nodded "well let's just say our mother did a very good job at keeping me hidden" I said, I instantly realised what I did, I slipped! I looked up to see if she picked it up which she did "did you just say..." She drifted off, I sighed well here goes nothing "yes Red" she didn't respond. The entire room was silent and it made me feel uncomfortable "can someone say something? I'm not a fan of these silences" I said quickly causing everyone to shift slightly "you my sister?" She whispered tears forming in her eyes, I nodded slowly. She wrapped her arms around me and hugged me "I thought I had no family left" she sniffed tears began to fall off her cheeks.
