Rosie's POV
I watched a small ray of sunlight shine through the window, I never slept last night I felt too... out of place; uncomfortable. My mind wandered to Belle, panic shot up through my chest as I let out a small whimper "morning Little One" I heard Zelena's voice say "morning" I whimpered even though I knew that the potion would have worn off by now. She got up and made her way into the kitchen, I followed her but I went to the front door inside of the kitchen. I scratched at it for a moment before barking, she understood and walked over and unlocked and opened the door for me. She leaned down to my height "I'll try Rosie" she said shooting me a wink, she knew this whole time? I tilted my head in confusion "I'm not an idiot Rosie, it's hard to forget an adorable wolf sitting in the middle of the Diner. I pretended to see if you would trust me, some things you did and others you didn't" she said, a frown crawling across her face. She stroked my ears softly "but then last night when you agreed to stay I realised that you did trust me and after your speech something clicked inside me, I'm not sure what it was but something happened" she confessed, I rubbed my head gently against the palm of her hand "i will try Little One, your right, I never wanted to be Wicked. You were right when you said that I was driven to it until that was all I had left but I promise Rosie, I will try to change" she said with a genuine smile and to my surprise I trusted and believed every word she said, I nodded and gave her a cheerful bark. She got to her feet "now go, I'm sure everyone is worried about you" she said with a light chuckle, I nodded and bolted towards town. There was no need to hide anymore as I reached the forest I felt weak and then I realised, its Wolfs Time tonight. I crumbled to the rough ground as I tried to regain my energy, I shook it off and took off running once again. I arrived at the shop and saw the front door was propped open, I made my way inside and there I saw her. She sat there with a take out cup of coffee from Granny's in her hand with black lines under her eyes, so she didn't get much sleep either. I let out a small whimper that caused her to jump "Rosie?" she asked with a yawn, I ran up to her and leapt up onto her knee. She hugged me close and I nuzzled my head into the crook of her neck "i was worried about you Rosie, I couldn't sleep last night" she whispered, I whimpered "i didn't sleep last night, I was worried about you too Belle" I confessed, I felt her tangle her fingers in my fur "it's wolfs time tonight" I confessed, I pulled back and watched as a sleepy smile crossed her face "then I get to meet you" she smiled, I laughed "you already know me" I played causing her to laugh "true but only the wolf you" she said stroking my ear. I sighed "what if the wolf me is all there is?" I questioned, she sighed and ran her fingers through my fur once again "I don't believe that" she soothed, I felt my eyelids begin to droop. I looked up to see Belle yawn "get some sleep Belle, I'll watch the shop and wake you if anyone comes in" I whispered, she gave a small nod and I got off her lap. I walked with her to the back room and watched her as she lay down on the bed "you know Rosie, I care about you and last night I was thinking about it" she started with a yawn, I leapt up next to her "the idea of what it was came last night" she started to drift off slowly, I nuzzled my head into her neck in an attempt to hug her "it's like how my mother cared for me" she said but she was asleep. I stiffened, I physically couldn't respond. I licked her cheek and made my way back into the shop, I hopped up onto the chair that Belle was previously sitting on. My thoughts began to wander to what Belle had said, sure she was half asleep but she must've meant it.
I was in the shop in the same place for a long time and by that I mean the sun was setting when Ruby came in with Emma close behind her "hey Rubes" I barked causing the two women to jump, Emma saw me sitting in the seat and laughed "we need to head out to the woods Rosie" Ruby said, she was a little fidgety which was completely normal since she could turn at any time, I nodded and hopped off the seat. I made my way to the back room and hopped up on to the bed next to Belle, I nudged her shoulder gently with my head. She stirred slightly "Belle" I barked, I watched as her eyes opened slightly and then suddenly widen when she realised "did I say.... Out loud" she said trailing off before speaking again, I laughed and nodded. She groaned "I'm sorry" she said sitting up, I laughed as I licked her cheek "don't worry, I completely understand why you said it. I saw it too" I said with a smile, she hugged me for a moment before looking at her watch. Her eyes widened "I thought you said you'd wake me!" She said noticing the time, I shook my head "you needed sleep and besides no one came in" I barked as footsteps came from behind us, I turned and saw Emma and Ruby. Ruby has become a lot more fidgety since I last saw "I gotta go, I'll see you later" I said before nuzzling my head into the crook of her neck which I had gotten so comfortable doing, she tangled her fingers in my fur "I'll see you in the morning" she said with a smile. I nodded and followed Ruby out to the forest, I looked up at Emma "not to be rude but why is she here?" I snapped to Ruby who shrugged and was about to speak when her eyes started glowing a bright golden shade as she tore into her wolf form taking Emma by surprise. A loud growl erupted from her chest as she turned to Emma, Emma backed away slowly but Ruby continued to inch for her. Out of impulse I leapt between the pair and stared into Ruby's eyes "easy Red" I snapped as she began to slow, her eyes glowed again when each of us realised. I'm the Alpha. "I'm so sorry Emma I don't know what happened" she barked but Emma couldn't understand, I gave Ruby a slight nod as she ran off. I nodded to Emma before chasing after the silver wolf.
