Reds POV
I woke up around the usual time so 6am, I had to be down in the diner by 7 to help Granny. I got up and looked around, Rosie wasn't here. "Rosie?" I called, no reply. I took a quick shower and changed before running down to the diner. I opened the door "Granny have you seen..." I trailed off when I saw her placing a small plate of chicken down in front of the familiar small wolf. I sighed with relief "had you worried didn't she?" Asked Granny with a slight chuckle as the pat Rosie on the head, I nodded. Rosie barked a laugh before turning back to her breakfast "eat up Rubes, we open in five" Granny said placing a plate of bacon in front of me, I nodded and tucked into my food. Granny opened the diner and I set off to work. Rosie stayed next to the series of barstools next to where the cashier was situated, she looked bored to say the least. At precisely 9am The Charming family arrived just like they do most mornings, Regina then walked in to join them a few moments later. "Hey Ruby" said Snow with a smile, I smiled "hey guys, what can I get yas?" I asked taking out my notepad and pen ready to take their orders. They ordered and I went to tell Granny. I came back out to find Henry leaning down next to Rosie "hey Henry" I said, he looked up at me and smiled "hey Ruby" he replied with a smile, I gave Rosie a quick tickle behind the ear before standing up again. I walked over to the Charming's table and sat down "any luck on who did this to us?" I questioned, they all shrugged "we have an idea but it's finding her that's the problem" Emma replied before taking a sip of her hot cocoa, I looked back at Henry for a moment and Emma followed my gaze "he's amazed at the fact that a wolf can be so tame" Emma quickly explained, I nodded. That's completely understandable, I mean as far as Henry is concerned Rosie is just a plain wolf and nothing more but hopefully we can try and get his memories back before wolfs time, I don't think Emma would like to explain why there are two wolves magically running around town and then young Rosie showing up in her human form. Emma perked up a bit "wait, Rosie has her memories right?" she asked, I nodded. She put her mug down "what if Rosie knows something about the wicked witch that we can use to find her?" she wondered, I shrugged. It was a possibility of course but Rosie would have mentioned if she came across at least one of us during the missing year but it wouldn't hurt to ask "sure, ill ask and let you know" I said shooting her a wink before heading back to work before Granny skinned me alive.
After my shift there was a big buzz flowing through the town, Emma walked in and I looked at her questioningly "everything okay?" I asked leaping to my feet, she shrugged "where's Belle?" she asked urgently, I shrugged I wasn't exactly sure "have you checked the library or Gold's shop?" I asked, she shrugged. I let out a same whistle and next thing I know Rosie was at my side "wanna help us find a few people?" I asked the same wolf who let out a small growl in agreement "who am I looking for?" she growled, Emma looked at me but I ignored it "Belle" I said simply, she nodded and made her way out of the diner. Me and Emma followed "she's picking up Belle's scent" I explained but Emma's confusion only grew "i introduced her to Belle last night" I explained. I heard Rosie give out a small bark "she's picked up her scent, come on" I said before chasing after the small wolf. We arrived outside Gold's shop a few moments later "i thought you said that you already checked Gold's shop?" I questioned, she nodded and shrugged "it was the first place we checked and she wasn't here maybe she just got back?" Emma offered before I scooped up Rosie and went inside. I couldn't have her wandering around with the risk of breaking something or scaring Belle, the doorbell jingled and Belle appeared in front of the counter "hey, is everything okay?" she asked, we nodded and she walked towards us "whats up?" she asked giving Rosie a small pat receiving a bark of approval from the young pup "we think we know where Gold is" Emma said quickly, I watched as Belle's eyes practically lit up "Rumple? He's alive?" she said her voice full of hope, Emma nodded "we want you to keep an eye on things here because if Gold is around..." She started but Belle soon cut her off "he'll come for me, I got it" she said a smile growing on her face, I smiled. I liked seeing Belle happy "okay, well could you also see if you can find anything on the Dark One?" she asked, Belle nodded. I think all of us were a bit confused at this stage, I mean we watched Stiltskin die but yet we never saw his dagger and somehow he was back. Maybe Belle found a way to bring him back during the missing year? I wondered to myself, Belle nodded "of course, I think we all need some answers on how Rumple is back" she said, Emma and I nodded "ill send Hook or someone to come and help you" Emma said quickly, I heard Belle sigh. She wasn't particularly fond of the pirate and who would blame her, he did try to kill her... multiple times "okay so your going to leave me in a room, alone might I add, with the man who tried to kill me?" she questioned venom lacing her tone, note to self don't mess with Belle. Rosie leapt out of my arms and landed gracefully on the floor "i can stay here to protect her if you wish?" Rosie growled looking up at me, I leaned down next to her and pat her head "thank you Rosie" I said before kissing her cheek and standing up again. Emma and Belle looked at me confused "Rosie offered to stay and protect you" I said with a smile, a small smile crossed Belle's face "thank you" she said with a smile, Rosie growled in response. Belle gave Rosie a small pet before heading over to the shelves and started searching for a few things "what are you looking for?" I wondered, she looked up at me and smiled "i remember Rumple telling me that he had a potion that could be used to speak with animals for a short amount of time, I just need to find it" she said rummaging through the potions again. I smiled, I looked down at Rosie who looked like she couldn't care less about what's going on "okay Hook's on his way" Emma said with a slight smile, Belle nodded as she pulled out a light blue potion "is that it?" I asked, she nodded and poured a small drop of it in the tea that she was drinking. She finished her tea and put it away "did it work?" I asked, Belle simply shrugged. Rosie was silent so we couldn't exactly tell, the doorbell rang as the pirate walked into the room "you wanted me Swan?" he questioned, Emma nodded and explained to him what he had to do. He took one look at Rosie and scoffed "why is there a wolf here?" he asked pointing his hook down at Rosie, a low growl erupted from her chest "watch it pirate, unless you want to lose the other hand" she snapped, me and Belle giggled at her response. I turned to Belle "so the potion worked then?" I asked, Belle nodded and I turned back to Hook "Rosie says for you to be careful unless you want to lose your other hand" I said quickly causing Emma to chuckle slightly, he looked down at the small wolf "nice to meet you to" he said with a fake smirk causing Rosie to bark in response.
