Rosie's POV
I lay there completely motionless un my bed, so many thoughts ran through my head and I worried about losing control. I was at home in Rumple and Belle's house. I heard the front door open from downstairs, it was probably Belle, I heard the familiar sound of heals on the wooden stairs and my prediction was correct. I heard a soft knock on the door "Rosie?" I heard Belle whisper softly but instead of responding as I normally did, I turned away.
Belle's POV
I walked in and caught a glimpse of Rosie turning away from me, I knew something was wrong almost instantly, Rosie had never acted this way towards me or Rumple or well... Anyone. I walked towards her and sat down next to her on the bed "sweetie, what's wrong?" I asked rubbing her shoulder. She flinched and moved away, completely rejecting my attempt to comfort her "go Belle" She croaked out, this threw me a bit. She hasn't called me Belle in years, what's changed? I inched towards her again but she moved away again "go!" she growled, this time much fiercer and more dangerous. This took me by surprise "I don't want to hurt you" she whimpered, her voice turning soft once again. I sighed "Rosie I know you, you could never hurt me" I whispered back but she shook her head "only because I was in control" she growled. I started to become concerned, what happened last night that's got her like this? I watched my daughter carefully, she was physically shaking and I knew I had to do something "what happened last night Rose?" I asked, she flinched and turned to me, her eyes flashing back and forth between the blue of her normal eye colour and the soft golden shade of her wolf. She let out a small growl "someone from my past showed up... Someone I thought... I thought was dead" she spoke slowly and clutched her eyes shut tight as she tried to remain in control of her wolf "your father?" I offered. It couldn't have been anyone else, as far as I knew her mother and her entire pack was dead... She had Ruby so who else could it be? An angry growl came from her chest as she nodded "he's playing with my emotions, making threats. He wants me to lose control" I was shocked once I heard her answer, my mind floated back to what Ruby had told me about her being dangerous about something happening. I let out a small sigh and ignored my thoughts "what did he say Rosie?" I asked, she turned away from me and growled. I figured it would be best not to press on the subject so I decided to try something else "did you ever have any fun times with you dad? Before everything happened?" I asked, she turned back to me. Her eyes were still flashing but it was at a much slower pace but she was still shaking "he taught me to turn successfully and how to control my wolf, everything i know about control I learned from him. That's what made it so easy for him to flip me over the edge, he knows where the weaknesses in my control are" she let out another fierce growl as her eyes stayed her deep golden colour "Rosie" I whispered as I put my hand out towards her, I hissed in pain as two fangs came in contact with my wrist. I looked up and Rosie was in the corner of the room, on the floor hugging her legs to her chest. I got up and began walking towards her, she growled "stop Belle!" she warned, I shook my head "Belle, I am so sorry" she whimpered softly, I shook my head "It's okay Rosie" i assured her, her head shot up and she made eye contact with me. Her pure golden eyes meeting my blue ones "no, no it's not Belle" she growled, i opened my mouth to speak "just go, please. I don't want to hurt you more than I already have" she whispered, a small tear falling down her cheek. I went against everything my mind told me to do and i walked out, I wanted nothing more than to comfort her but I did as she wished and left. I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I started searching through the cupboards trying to find a first aid kit, hopefully i can get this covered before Rumple comes home. I heard the front door open as i pull out the first aid kit, well speak of the devil. I took out the bandages as Rumple walked into the kitchen "Belle?" he started, I looked up "what happened?" he questioned pointing at the bandages i held in my hand, i shrugged "Rosie's upstairs" i stated, he nodded "is she hurt?" he asked, I unrolled a small amount and cut it with a pair of scissors that were sitting nearby. I shook my head "no, she's fine..." i trailed off and he stared at me slightly confused "then what are the..." he trailed off when he saw me washing the blood from my arm, he was at my side in an instant "Belle..." he started before I cut him off "it's fine Rumple" I said in a reassuring tone, he frowned but nodded "I'm going to go and talk to her" he said making his way away from me. My eyes widened "Rumple!" I said, he turned back to me and smiled "I'm not going to hurt her Belle" he reassured me, I nodded as he made his way back to me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me towards him in a sweet embrace "never in a thousand years could I hurt that girl" he said softly, I smiled as he leaned down and pressed his lips to mine. I returned his sweet kiss.
Rumple's POV
I pulled away and she smiled "good luck talking to her" she whispered looking towards the ground, I noticed a frown cross her face. I tucked my finger under her chin and brought her gaze back up to mine "she completely rejected me when I tried" she said with a frown. I sighed as I began to wrap her injured arm in the bandage she had cut up but done nothing with "I've got a bit of experience with Children of the Moon" I muttered, she looked at me slightly confused "i'll tell you later" I said before placing a small kiss on her forehead, she nodded and gave me a thankful smile. I turned away and made my way towards the stairs. I made my way slowly up the stairs and towards Rosie's room. I stopped outside the door and knocked before going in. There I saw Rosie, sitting in the corner or the room with her knees held close against her chest softly sobbing. As I walked towards her the floorboard creaked causing her head to shoot up and she growled "sorry" she mumbled after seeing it was me, I smiled and walked towards her. I watched her carefully "I didn't mean to bite her" she whispered shyly, I sighed and kneeled down next to her. She inched away ever so slightly "I know Rosie" I said shooting her a reassuring smile, she watched me carefully "you knew me" she mumbled softly "before I came to Storybrooke" she finished. I stiffened slightly "who told you that?" I questioned, there was only one person I could think of but I needed her to confirm my suspicions "Mikael" she hissed, I nodded slightly. She frowned "why didn't you tell me?" she questioned, I sighed as I tried to figure out what to tell her "you were only young when I first met you, I didn't think it was important" I explained. She scoffed "yeah right" she muttered. I watched her carefully, she was shaking and she gripped to her knees for support. I frowned, this must be putting her through a lot of pain and this subject wasn't making things any easier. I sighed "a few years before you were born was the first time I met your father" I began, I figured I would start at the beginning to avoid any confusion "he came to me seeking a deal, he wanted the ability to turn at will" I explained, I watched as she stiffened at my words "you then inherited that gift from him" I mentioned. She nodded and motioned for me to continue "when you were seven, a few days shy of you eighth birthday the black knights found your den correct?" I asked, she nodded "your father came to me once again and promised me help if I ever needed if I agreed to save you, and I did" I finished. She frowned for a moment "and what did you get in return?" she asked, I sighed at her question "he agreed to help me try and save Belle but Regina was already on my doorstep pronouncing her to be dead and I was so struck with grief that I sent him to the Queen's castle and he got caught" I explained, a small frown crossed her face "you then ended up without a father, he had a plan you know. To train you and grow you into the perfect Alpha but that never happened" I finished, a small tear rolled down her cheek. I watched as her eyes flashed a golden colour and they stayed that way "keep Belle inside tonight! I don't want to know what will happen to her if I lose control and she's out there" she snapped before quickly climbed out of the open window, she shifted and leapt down to the ground with ease before darting to the forest.
