Chapter 19 - Stacy

Cortney's P.O.V - 1 Week Later

I waited outside the building, where the gig was, with Brenna. We were waiting for Sid, Mick and Craig to show up. They weren't late. We just really wanted to meet this new girl.

Sid turned up in his dads old jeep and gave us a quick hug before heading inside.

"Where the fuck are they?" Brenna asked, tapping her fingers against the barrier we were leaning on. This place was amazing! There were two door men at the main entrance, keeping the line together. We were leaning back against the ramp that the line was formed up on.

There was a back entrance for all the bands that were playing tonight and me and Brenna had pass access to that door. Sid left the jeep on the side of the road, near the back entrance, so we could make a quick get away if we needed to.

Inside was the counter to get your last minute ticket and bathrooms. Once a band had played they can go to the counter and tell the lady the name of their band and she pays each member 10 dollars for each song. (A/N - Not good with American money) Then there are two double doors, side-by-side. Those doors lead into the hall. The whole room is for the crowd, with an upstairs, for a better view. Finally there is the stage. Up against the right of the room. It is pretty big!

I was so exited for this gig. The guys were playing just 5 songs. That was the limit, so each band can play. Doors open at 10 and close at 3. Slipknot were the 7th band to play! (A/N - Sorry! I haven't properly thought that through, so that could be messed up.) 

Mick and Craig showed up with a girl. She had long dyed black hair and ear piercings. She wore a white top with a red blood splash on it, black leather jacket, black jeans and brown boots. She looked awesome.

"Hey, Cortney. Hey, Brenna." Mick smiled. Craig gave us both a high 5 and ran inside. The first band just started. "Hi." Brenna smiled back to Mick.

"So, this is Stacy. Stacy, this is Brenna, Paul's girlfriend, and Cortney, Corey's girlfriend. You'll be meeting the guys later." Mick smiled. "Awesome. Hi." Stacy smiled. I waved and Brenna said 'Hi' back.

"I have to get going, but stay with these two. They know what they are doing." Mick smiled to Stacy. "Sure. Good luck." Stacy smiled.

Mick left and we all smiled to each other.

"First, you look awesome." Brenna smiled.

"Thanks. So, do you two." Stacy replied.

"And second, Cortney doesn't like talking, she isn't being rude, she just hates her voice." Brenna told.

"OK. Fair enough." Stacy nodded with a smile.

"Shall we head inside?" Brenna asked.

"Yeah, great!" Stacy smiled. I nodded and we walked to the back entrance.

"Babe! We got moved up, a band back out, so we're on next." Corey said, running over.

I nodded and hugged him. He kissed my shoulder and I felt him wave to Stacy.

"Corey. Lead vocals." Brenna said.

"Ah!" Stacy smiled.

We broke out the hug and Corey left. Me, Brenna and Stacy went up stairs, to the back of the room. A lot of people were here, but we were lucky to get to the center, so we could look over the crowd and get a good view of our boys. To be honest I was so exited for this and I think Stacy could be a really cool friend!
