Cortney's P.O.V
It was Friday..... Already we were all getting bad luck. None of Chris's pens were working and he had an exam. Clown, Sid and Paul got detentions. Me, Brenna and Corey were late for a test. Joey, Mick and Jim all had to work on extra credit in Science, so they didn't come out at break and most of lunch.
"Come on!" Chris shouted at his pen.
Me and Brenna were laughing. We were in music and Chris was so annoyed. Mick broke 3 strings already.
"I hate today!" Corey said, sitting back, putting his feet on the desk.
"TAYLOR! Detention!" Our teacher called.
I looked at the teacher gob-smacked. "Miss Sixx. You can join us as well!" He said.
Me and Corey sat back, holding hands under the table.
Brenna pouted. "I'll let your mum know." She said.
I smiled and Chris through his pen across the room. "Little bitch!" He shouted.
"All right! All the back table. You'll all be staying a hour when bell goes." The teacher shouted.
Everyone groaned and I saw Lindsey laughing. Brenna looked over at Lindsey and looked at me.
"What's so funny?" Brenna whispered.
I shrugged and bell rang.
"60 minutes starting now." Clown said, looking at the clock. Everyone walked out the class and the boys started to play cards. Sid carried cards with him to entertain himself in detentions when he got them.
~ 5 minutes left~
"Go fish." Corey groaned.
He dropped all his cards on the desk and looked at me.
"Can we leave now? There is only 5 minutes and it is Friday." Paul asked.
The teacher looked at the clock and nodded at us.
We all collected our stuff and left together.
"Hey Joey, when we all got detention, Lindsey started laughing at us." Brenna told him.
"She's been really off since Cortney came back." Joey told us.
"Are we all going to Cortney's?" Sid asked.
I nodded at Sid.
"Why don't you ask her about it?" Mick asked Joey.
"I don't know. She's really..." Joey struggled for words.
"Bitchy?" Corey asked, wrapping an arm around me.
Joey nodded and we walked into my house.
"HEY!" Clown shouted walking in.
"Tell me you don't have that mask!" My dad laughed, walking downstairs.
"Sadly not today. What's cookin'?" Clown asked.
Everyone met my parents and they all got along. Clown scared my mum when he met her though. He needed a ride home so I text him saying my dad could give him a ride. Clown came home with me, but had his mask on from the gig they played, and my mum freaked out! It was hilarious.
