Have you ever seen a lobster? A real one; it looks burgundy, almost brown. Well, dear Mr. Wallis was one right now. I actually screamed a little after he emerged from a vender's tent.
"Jesus." I held my hair to my face.
"We leave, now." Mathew didn't even move his lips; out of his entire body, it was his face that was burnt the most; it was peeling already.
He awkwardly waddled past us.
That's not a man, it's a hotdog with yellow, duck feet.
I spun down to Joan, and hissed, "did you torch him?!"
"Torch-ured him." Joan closed her eyes while explaining herself. Apparently Mary had asked to build a bunch of castles around Mathew's body. He had agreed though once he couldn't find his sun screen, he declined. Mary then put up a fit, and to make her stop, went under the sun where he lay still for who knows how long. His back was still a regular tone, and Joan tried to make Mary convince him to turn over, but he had had enough.
"I couldn't burn him all around. Mission half done." Joan crossed her arms, "I could run up to him, and hug him real tight."
"No, no, thank you, Joan." I patted her shoulders. "He has suffered enough." Too much, actually. These girls are demons, and I wasn't sure if I should be proud or ashamed at their evil genius.
She raised a brow, step in closer, then whispered, "you like him, don't you."
"W-what?! No. No, I do not!"
"Then why do you look guilty, huh?"
Curse this child.
"I, uhm." I wave my hands around, then breathe calmly, " -I-I'll give him the hug, okay. Today was enough payback."
"Hmm, okay, and deals a deal."
Groaning, I rolled my eyes, "Okay, okay. But it's a little pricey, Joan."
"My associate, and I made a deal with you." Joan said while pointing her nose to the sky.
Clearly the girls have been watching far too much television, and not the Disney Channel.
