Special: Wendy

Gray and I were supposed to get ice cream but Lyon decided to come along to mess with Gray. Sherry told me I'd better book it before it got too messy between them. So I did and now, I'm exploring one of the coolest resorts in the world.

Cousin Jellal, when he picked me up from my home, told me about almost everything about my new teammates that I didn't know by watching ESPN.

Gray and Lyon grew up together plus they were adopted by the same woman who later passed.

Natsu's back story remained a mystery.

I've met Erza several times before. Each time she was starting to get scarier and scarier but she was always nice around me. The only problem was she completely forgot who I was when we met this morning but oh well. The last time we saw each other, she was ten and I was eight.

I do know that she had this special connection with my cousin. I don't need to be a genius to see that they do in fact love one another. But Lucy told me earlier that they had a complicated way of expressing themselves so that's why they are still not together. Too bad.

Then I learned so much about Natsu and Lucy.

Natsu was engaged. Kinda a kept secret from the public but Fairy Tail FC did know. His brother is a CEO of something I don't really recall. Natsu gets to play soccer because there's nothing for him to do but he has to marry Lisanna Strauss when they turn twenty-one to keep the heirs coming to run the company.

Lucy was also from a rich family but she ran away because her father was too restraining to her and she loved soccer over being a CEO, just like her legendary mother.

By what I see, they're good friends but for some reason I think Cousin Jellal is hiding something about them from me. I don't know how, I guess it's a gut feeling.

The elevator dinged signalling it's arrival. An elderly woman left before I entered. I heard there was this awesome glass like dome for stargazing on the roof so I'm going to go check it out. Since it's snowing right now, it'd be such an amazing view.

It didn't take long for the elevator to travel up all twenty-five floors. It's probably because I was looking out of the glass watching the machine take me to the top.

It dinged upon arrival, catching my surprise.

I grabbed my phone out of my warmer slid the camera icon over to get ready to record and snap some pics of the dome.

I expected there not being anybody around considering it was a Thursday night and the resort seemed kinda empty.

What I didn't expect, though were two familiar faces. Correction: two familiar faces pressed against each other like that.

Holy Giant of the giants... Natsu and Lucy are kissing?!!!

~~~~~~~~~
Lucy
Natsu... was actually kissing me back. His hand was cupping my face, his warm cinnamon lips molding into mines perfectly. We didn't want to pull apart, we didn't want to let go. Sure it was cold but I guess we were almost afraid that if we let go, we'd never get to do it again.
I didn't even hear the ding of the elevator until a gasp verified a guest just arrived on the roof with us. My swollen lips left Natsu's as we froze, eyes widened looking into one another shocked that we've been found out by some crazy fan girl.
Natsu's eyes suggest I check to see who it was. I shook my head. It's best we hide this way. But then I remembered: he's wearing his warmer with his name on it.
So much for stealth.
"Sorry!" Was all I managed, most of which was absorbed by Natsu's chest. "We'll be leaving now."
"W-wait, Lucy-san, Natsu-san!" That nervous voice.
I looked around Natsu, completely surprised to see my new teammates standing there, her whole face painted completely pink from embarrassment.
"Wendy?" I blinked.
"I-I just wanted to check out the dome," poor girl was so traumatized she pointed to the ground, her eyes spinning with complete confusion. "But I-I guess my t-timing is completely off."
Natsu grabbed my arm, giving it a squeeze of reassurance before walking over to our youngest teammate, "Breathe, Wen. Breathe."
He started doing some breathing exercises with the girl, making sure she wasn't going to hyperventilate and required some medical attention. I highly doubt Jellal would be too happy with that. When she finally did calm down, she sat down at one of the tables, awaiting an explanation. Natsu sighed, walking over and crouching in front of her again.
"Cousin Jellal did say you two had a pretty close friendship," her brown eyes fixed on the ground in front of her. "I didn't know it was that kind of friendship."
Hold on, what kind of friendship was she talking about anyway? My ears turned pink when I tried raking my brain to find out other connotations of what she meant by 'close friendship.' This girl is more grown up than I had thought.
I crouched over, my shoulder touching Natsu's, "What you saw just now... the team doesn't need to know, right?"
Her brown eyes widened, "So they don't know you have that kind of friendship?!"
"Hey," Natsu scowled. "By 'that kind of friendship' Luce meant the romantic moment you caught us in. And no, the team doesn't know because I was supposed to be engaged but Luce said that my fiancee is working things out with -"
I had to cover his mouth. He's nervous, that much I can tell. But in the short time we've known Wendy, she doesn't hesitate to make sure that her teammates aren't hurt or exposed in any way. Even if she had to keep a secret this big from Jura and her older cousin along with his killer supposed-to-be-girlfriend, she'll do it.
She's a peacekeeper, not a war starter if that makes any sense.
"It's that complicated between you two?" she asked the moment I took my hand away from Natsu's mouth.
Salamander and I exchanged a look then nodded.
The girl sighed, "Alright. Your secret is safe with me. I'll even try to keep you two in check if you need."
"That wouldn't be necessary," Natsu sat back on his butt. "Despite our romantic feelings for one another, the way Luce and I interact is nothing bad or new to anybody else."
"Well only the members of Fairy Tail FC."
"That's what I just said."
"No. You said anybody else meaning our new team therefore, it's wrong."
"It's not my fault you didn't catch the implication."
"What you said could be seen as a huge misunderstanding. It's misleading!"
"Oh well I'm sorry if I wasn't specific enough for you to understand."
"Why thank you for seeing your mistake in all of this. Wait..."
"Ow! What the hell, Luce?"
"You just called me stupid."
"No I did not!"
"Well I caught your implication that time."
His eyebrow twitched with annoyance but I know for sure Natsu can never get annoyed with me. Well, he does when we pointless arguments like that but that's just what makes us Natsu & Lucy.
I am glad though. I think I managed to break down that wall he built up just two days ago. It was getting thick, but nothing I couldn't handle. Natsu could never lock me out of his life, even if he wanted to. I'd break that wall every time if I had to.
Wendy watched the whole argument, amused to the point that she giggled. I completely forgot we had a little audience.
"I'm surprised I didn't catch on before," her eyes closed in amusement. "The way you two argue, you might as well be married with two kids already."
