"Push up, Cana," I shouted over the screaming crowd. "Get the striker offside!"

The brunette immediately moved a step up right at the throw in. The striker, Jenny from Blue Pegasus FC, didn't see and sprinted forward. A midfielder saw an opening and sent the ball her way causing the sideline referee to raise a flag.

Alright!

"Let's move, Fairies!" I shouted back to the forwards as Gajeel went to take the free kick.

The crowd silence themselves anticipating the kick. Gajeel threw the ball on the floor once, twice before taking two steps back. He signaled to Levy to come to his side.

If we win this match, we have a solid standing in the playoffs. We have one more match against a newly formed team called Sabertooth who has a record of 9-0... Our record is 8-1, we win this we play them in the round of sixteen in two weeks. But with a tied score at 2 each, if me or Juvia doesn't make a goal in the next two additional minutes, we're going into overtime. I don't think my teammates can handle another brutal fifteen minutes and I know we will leave gaps open. Even if we have the whole Thunder Legion, our strong defensive unit, is with us.

The funeral for my father lasted about two weeks.

Leo or Loke took over the week after everything happened and I was there as the elder of the Heartfilia gave him the official materials. Then, Leo took both me and his wife out for a feast of a dinner. They took me home the next day.

"This is for you, Bunny Girl gi hi," Gajeel smirked as he raised his hand.

Are we seriously?

His eyes tell me he's dead serious... oh damn.

I took a charging start making sure I was still onside. One of the Pegasus defenders, who has been paranoid with me this whole time followed closely behind me.

The whistle sounded and the kick of the ball seconds afterwards.

Gajeel's flew straight into the penalty area but bounced a few inches from the goalie. She was about to make a dive for the ball. My sprint speed had changed right before the whistle blew and I was able to pull just far enough ahead. I slammed the ball down with the inside of my foot as the goalie dived underneath then as it aired right above her shocked face, I twisted around and slammed the heel of my left foot into the ball.

The whistle blew once then twice more to signal the end of regulation and the match.

And that's it! The Fairies have done it! They are going to the playoffs for the fifth time in a row! Thanks to the beautiful, beautiful goal made by the captain: Luce Heartfilia or The Celestial Striker!

The crowd went crazy. I mean like they were literally flying out of their seats screaming at the top of their lungs. I raised a fist into the air and it wasn't long until several bodies started attacking me in bear hugs. I laughed alongside my fellow teammates, my friends, my family in victory.

This is so awesome, Mom, Dad.

"Erza is gonna be so mad at you, girl," Cana, who had a headlock on me, smiled. "You practically stole her spot."

"Nah," I replied, welcoming the hug from Juvia. "She has so much more skill then I do."

"I wouldn't mind following your orders, Blondie," Laxus, Coach Makarov's grandson and leader of the Thunder Legion unit, ruffled my hair. "You're alright kiddo."

I tried to bat him away but he's bigger than even Gajeel. They both love to pick on me and Levy because we're the youngest and we're some of the shorter players on the team. Juvia is a solid 5'7" so picking on her is harder.

"I must admit I am impressed, Love Rival," Juvia threw an arm around my shoulder.

We walked towards the subbing area, Makarov already jumping up and down excited with our win.

"Beautiful shot, Lucy!" He laughed loudly. "One of the best shots I have ever seen in my whole life time."

Laxus suddenly appeared behind all of us, "Stop jumping old man or you'll pop a vessel."

"Shut up boy!" Makarov pumped a fist towards the blonde man. "I'm still your grandfather."

"So!" Cana's arm around me tightened. "Party at Lucy's tonight or what?"

I looked at her, dumbfounded, "No way! I can't fit all of you in my apartment."

"Don't worry about it," Laxus casted a sideways look at me. "It's gonna be at my location, Blondie."

~~~~~~~~~~~~
I looked at Gajeel twice, blinking completely confused as he put his car into park.
"Why are we at Jellal's house?" I asked. "I thought it was going to be at Laxus's place."
"He did say location," Levy, who was in the passenger seat in her own cute white party getup was looking around. "But I am just as equally confused."
"Stop being confused Shortie. It doesn't suit you," Gajeel sighed, unbuckling not only his seat belt but his girlfriend's as well.
Oh yeah! These two shrimp heads started dating the second day I was gone with the rest of the Fairy Tail squad. When Levy told me, I flipped shit! Not even kidding! Pillows were flying everywhere and a whole bunch of 'holy shits' flying out the window at three AM. But then she flipped shit when I told her about Natsu and me so we're kinda even. After I did settle down she told me he literally came to her apartment dressed up nicely with a bag, grabbed her and put her in the bag then carried her, squirming she added, to the Chinese bistro for their first date.
Been together ever since and I was literally the third wheel all afternoon because Cana thought it'd be fun to go get drunk with Mira and Laxus which I didn't want to do. So I had to unbuckle my own seat belt and open my own door.
We entered the Jellal's house and surprisingly, it was neatly decorated with a whole bunch of Fairy Tail FC mutated party animals. Nothing was broken yet but that was because it was only six and nobody wanted to be hammered yet. Key word: yet. Give it another two hours...
I ditched the couple and wandered into the kitchen to grab some food. I am starving, haven't eaten since before the game at noon. Running around being captain really drained all the living energy out of me. I am now a woman on a mission for food. Can't stop us, never.
I grabbed a plate filled with fried rice and every other dish that was laying on the table. I wanted to finish eating before I went and mingled with the rest of my teammates. So I just sat at the dinner table and pulled out my phone to browse my Facebook, ignoring the loud music booming in the next room over when a message blocked my view of the latest news on Kim Kardasian.
hey sexy wyd? ;)
I nearly choked on my food. Natsu? Shouldn't he be asleep right now? It's like two AM in San Diego right now. What's he doing awake?
eating food y r u awake?
missing u :'( damn baby i want 2 c u
My cheeks blushed as my thumb typed:
i miss u 2 but soon alright? i promise ill treat u 2 something when u get back. n don't get any stupid ideas...
Natsu didn't reply for awhile but he replied.
y r u eating alone?
becuz im hung
My finger hung over the word hungry. It doesn't take Jellal's detective skills to figure this out. I shot up from my seat and searched the entire room. Sadly abandoning my plate of food on the table, I wandered around the house in search for that familiar pink hair I missed so much but came up with nothing. Did one of the Fairy Tail idiots somehow get Natsu's phone and texted me as some kind of prank?
When I get my hand on that pri-
My phone suddenly vibrated again. I slid the unlock button and read the text:
c u soon, lucy i love u my celestial goddess
