It was the next day and marco still wasn't back. all he did was text me that hes staying over at shontell's house (his girlfriend).Kayla's in the kitchen cooking up some breakfast.
''You need any help?'' I ask her.
''Nah im alright,'' she replies. ''mom wants to go out and get some stuff at the shop with you,'' kayla tells me.
''do I have to.'' I ask
''Yes shes your mother,''

So i guess we ended up here and she was just acting as if nothing happened. As if she wasnt gone for nine years of my life. And her little boyfriend tyreeke wasnt constantly here tormenting us and ab-
''So hows school, you should have your exams now aint it?'' She says cutting me from my thoughts.
''Yeah'' i reply
''That wasnt a closed question, now give me a proper answer!'' She demands
''Things like this just push me away FUTHER AND FUTHER. After EVERYTHING you put marco, kayla and I through, you just keep and keep pushing!'' I storm off towards the food court
''Ckyra get back here!"
I carry on walking ignoring her.

When I got back home I went straight to my room. Someone knocks on my door.
''who is it?''
''Its kayla''
I open the door.
''wheres mom at?''
''I dont know and dont care,'' I shut the door
Kayla's POV
I turn around and sigh. I pick up my phone and just as i was about to call mom she walks through the door.
''Is ckyra in there?'' She asks as she points at ckyra's room.
''yeah''
She goes for the door nob. As she turns it she realises that it is locked
''let me in!'' Momma shouts banging on the door. There was no reply.
After a while mom gave up.
