Ckyra's POV
I wake up and look at my phone. It's 3:47 in the afternoon
And the weird thing is although I slept basically all day yesterday I still feel tired
My sleep is really fucked up (my sleep is really out the window. I be going like 28hours without sleep or I'll just sleep all day)
I get up and get in the shower then do the rest of my hygiene stuff
I put on my long sleeve white top and my grey sweats
My phone starts ringing. It's tavion
I sigh then answer
"Ckyra"
"Yes"
"You still mad?"
"No"
I hear him sigh "I'm sorry I don't wanna argue with you. But imma talk to you properly when you get back tomorrow. Face to face"
"Yea Okay"
"You Ight?"
"Yes"
He sighs again "okay I'll see you tomorrow"
"Bye"
"Bye"
I hang up
I put on my slides then go downstairs
"Hey y'all" I say to everyone
They all reply
"Ckyra you can really sleep" Kayla says
"Yeah I guess"
I get a text and it's from Hayden causing a smile to form on my face
"Girl who you texting because ain't no food in here"🤨 Marco says
"Get out her business" shontell tells him laughing
"If I find out your texting a nigga, imma beat his ass for talking to my lil sister"
"Marco I'm 17"
"You still my lil sister"
"Oh hush
I walk into the kitchen to find something to eat
I sit at the island and open Hayden's message
Hayden🙄❤️:how u today? x
Me: okay🤷🏾♀️ how r u
Hayden🙄❤️: I'm good now I'm speaking to u
Me:aww 😘
Hayden🙄❤️: what u doing
Me: looking for something to eat. U?
Hayden🙄❤️: damn mama. I ain't know u was with it. I'm down
Me:u fool. U know I ain't mean it like that. What u doing dumbass
Hayden🙄❤️: ik😂 I was just checking. I'm laying down
Kayla walks in.
"I thought you was getting food" she says
"I am"
"Girl i know you have just been in here sitting on yo ass" she chuckles "let's talk"
She comes and sits next to me
"About what?" I put my phone down
"Life" she shrugs "so tell me Hayden. Whas the deal"
"What you talking about"
"You like him?"
"Yeah as my best friend"
"Ckyra ain't about to tell no body shit. So you can be honest with me"
I shrug
"Do you like him as more than a friend"
"I-I don't know" I sigh "he like really cares about me and I don't even have to question that. I feel safe around him. He's just so...i don't even know. And right now Ion even wanna talk to tavion. Hayden is the only person I wanna talk to right now...I even told him a lil bit about what happened to me"
She looked shocked
"Wow. You must really like and trust him"
"I do"
"Have you told tavion about any of that"
I simply shake my head no
"Hmm"
"What's that for?"
"You already know" she gets up and walks away
