The Games day 3 Part 7

Something was warming me but I didn’t know what, the fire was too far for the warmth to hit me but I felt safe and warm. I was looking into his eyes and he was gazing into mine. Then without a word he started to lean into me, eyes on mine.

Then I turned to look at his leg. It was still bleeding and Tyler leaned away against his arms. “Yeah I guess we need to deal with that.” I nodded.

‘The first aid kit’ I signed pulling it out I made sure to clean the wound and Tyler winced a little ‘sorry’

“It’s ok just stings a lot” he said. After I wrapped up the leg I looked around. “How are we gonna get out of here?” Tyler asked. Immediately I hit my head with my hand the cave entrance is blocked how are support to get out. Tyler looked at me and I mean really looked at me. I started feeling uncomfortable when he smiled.

‘What are you smiling at?’

“Your hair” I immediately felt my hair it was in its bun as I had left it.

‘What about my hair?’ I signed

“It’s moving” he said as if he was commenting on the weather or something. I gave him the ‘duh’ face.

‘I’m moving doesn’t that mean that my hair does too?’

“Yes but when you were still just a moment ago it was moving as if air was pushing it.” he said.

‘So that means that the air is moving so there has to be a way out’

“Wow I thought I was going to have to spell it out to you.” He said I stuck my tough out at him. He laughed “come on it’s a joke.”

I crossed my arms and looked away. He leaned over and pulled my arms open and he held my hands. He smiled at me “sorry” he said in a really sincere voice. I smiled back it was hard to be mad at him. I feel it again that warmth and security. I stood up and look around. I look to the fire and see that smoke is trailing towards the back of the cave. I look to Tyler he can’t walk on his leg so I guess I going to have to carry him.

‘I gonna have to carry you’ I sign to him he starts to laugh.

“You carry me” he says “you aren’t serious, you’ll hurt yourself”

I shove the bags into his arms and in one swift motion I swing him in my arms and begin to walk towards the back of the cave. He stopped laughing as soon as I walk with him in my arms he really didn’t know that I could carry him. It’s a little hard but I can carry 190lb weighs I think I can handle Tyler for at least a while. We eventually have to stop because Tyler’s leg has soaked through the bandage. I put him down and wrap it more and take a break.
