A/N: Hey! Sorry if this chapter is too long! I just kept coming up with ideas and they all fit so perfectly well together! Please tell me if you didn't like this super long chapter! It'll help. A LOT! Thanks guys! -LP)
The sun is beating down on my face as I slowly come to consciousness. It's warm. I slowly opened my eyes and rolled over and started to sit up. The wood floor was extremely cold on my bare feet. I stood up and walked over to the chair where I put my uniform for today and I started to get into it. I finished putting on my straps and jacket and quickly slid on my boots. I walked over to the mirror and fixed my hair for the day. I put my locket on and sighed as I turned to walk out the door.
I locked the door behind me and started walking down the hall to the Mess hall for breakfast.
"Hey! (Y/n)!" I heard Eren call from behind me.
"Eren? Whats up?" I inquired.
"I was just gonna ask if you felt ok, you know, after last night and all..."
"Eren, I'm fine. No need to worry."
"O-ok..." His cheeks started to turn pink. I smiled at him as we finally got outside. Levi walked by and glared at us. He was walking to his office.
"See ya at the stables after breakfast. Kay?" I said.
"Wha- Where are are you going?"
"I'm going to check up on someone. Bye!"
"Um, ok. Bye." Eren and I waved at each other and I took off to the back door of the building where we were lodging. I slowly opened the door and stepped inside. I closed the door behind me and sighed, trying to be as quiet as I could. But it wasn't quiet enough.
"Tch, why are you following me like a lost puppy, (y/n)?" I heard the captain say as he turned to me. I hadn't really paid much attention to his size before. Everyone say's he's so short, even I did once. But, if you look at him from my perspective, he's tall. Not very, but he's at least an inch or so taller than I am.
"I-I wanted to tell you good morning, Captain Levi , sir." I said.
"I told you to just call me Levi, I hate the formalities with people I get to know. Come."
"Yes, Capt- I mean Levi." Levi led me down the hall to a library that was filled with newspapers and records.
"Why aren't you at breakfast?"
"I wasn't hungry, Levi."
"You need your strength."
"I have more than I need. I almost made it into the top 10. I'll be fine, and if anything-"
"You need all the strength you can get."
"Why are you acting like you are my father?" I snap.
"Tch, fine. You'll die today anyway."
"Levi, what do you mean that I'll die?"
"We are leaving the walls today for an 'important mission'."
"But we have barely had any training. Won't it be suicide?"
"It wasn't my idea. Shitty-glasses decided that we needed to take a few soldiers out to capture a few 'experiments'."
"'Experiments'? What do you mean?"
"I have business to attend to. You'll most likely be further informed later."
