Chapter 24 ♛ The Dawn Treader

Three years later (Narnia years)
One year later (human years)

Adriana's Pov
It's been three years here in Narnia but strange enough it looks like I've only aged a year, if that. A few months after the Pevensies left a few of us joined the Navy. That including Caspian, Reepicheep, and I. We met the rest of the crew and we got along pretty well. Together we traveled on the Dawn Treader and have restored peace all across Narnia. Lucy and Edmund haven't come back.

The first year I was quite hopeful that they would come back, but they didn't. The second year I started to lose hope, I know Aslan would tell me not to lose hope but I already have.

I don't know how long I can do this for.

We're just sailing and I'm in the room where Caspian keeps the Pevensies stuff. I walk around looking at everything. Susan's bow and arrows, Peters sword, Lucy's healing cordial and dagger, and a bunch of other things.

Caspian has my Red Knight armour in a cabinet but I don't wear it really. Before we left Aslan game me a pirate outfit. He said I was we the Red Knight Pirate Outfit. I don't question him.

It had a gold and red shirt with a black corset on top, a black jacket that goes down to my ribs, I have black leggings and brown knee high boots. (Picture above)

I like it very much, it's surprisingly comfortable. On hot days just take the jacket off. I keep my hair down and natural, no need to do anything to my hair when it will just get ruined. And of course I have my Red Knight sword.

Days are long and tiring most of the time. We're always working, finding something, figuring stuff out, planning.... I get my own room thankfully since I'm the only girl on this ship. There has never been any other girl, sometimes I wish there was a girl. The boys are great don't get me wrong, but sometimes you just need another girl.

I walk out on deck and Caspian walks up to me, "Adriana" he smiles, "we're making great progress."

Caspian seems very happy today. We're searching for the seven lords of Telmar. We've been searching for about a month and nothing, we haven't got anything. Nothing exciting has happened recently. There's peace all across Narnia, so there's no wars to fight, or anyone to stop.

Sometimes I think about the Pevensies, how they're doing, if they're alright. Who knows how long it's been there. Edmund probably has a new girlfriend and forgot about me. Which just makes me have to move on. I've tried but it's easier said than done.

"Your majesty" Reepicheep says standing beside me, "hello Reep" I smile.

"I've been told to inform you that dinner will be ready soon" he says and scurries off.

Dinner on the Dawn Treader isn't much. Nothing like back at Cair Parval or back at Caspian's castle. But it's enough to feed us and keep us alive.

We eat and nothing really happens so I just go into my separate room and get ready for bed. I change into my sleep clothes and get into bed. And the last thing I remember is Edmund before I drift off to sleep.

A/N- Sorry this kinda sucks. But it's like an introduction into Dawn Treader I guess you could say. Like explain how they got there, what they do and stuff like that. Don't worry next chapter is much better and exciting. And certain people may be returning *nudge nudge* so stay tuned for that! Hope you enjoyed this suckish part lol and thank you for all the reads it blows my mind and also all the votes and comments they make my day x10000❤️ next update soon!! And the whole Narnia and real world time is weird in this cause I kinda changed it but just ignore it somehow. Idk like Adriana is like Caspian, how they age along with the Pevensies even tho they're in Narnia if that makes any sense.
