Adriana's Pov
"So what were you and Anne talking about?" Edmund asks, "well what were you an Harold talking about?" I ask.
"I asked you first" he says and I roll my eyes, "fine we were talking about you" I say.
"Funny, Harold and I were talking about you" he smiles, "what about me were you talking about?" I ask.
"Just how you're a lovely girl and one of a kind and special. And I should never let you go and all that cheesy stuff" he says getting red in the cheeks a bit.
"What a cupcake" I laugh poking his cheek.
"Only for you" he says and we continue to walk to my house.

"Here you go malady" he says walking me up the steps to my door, "why thank you kind gentleman" I laugh.
"I will be here around 7:00pm be ready" he says, "alright well what do I wear?" I ask, it's always important to dress appropriately.
"Something nice maybe, but comfortable" he says and walks down the steps.
I walk into my apartment and set my bags down. What a crazy day it has been. I look at the clock and it's 5:00pm so I have about two hours to kill before Edmund comes. I wonder what he has planned.
*Ring ring*
The phone rings and I pick it up. "He-", "ADRIANA YOU WOULD NEVER GUESS WHAT JUST HAPPENED!!" Gloria screams cutting me off through the phone causing me to drop it.
"W- what I ugh- just- what- what happened?" I ask as I slowing get my hearing back in my right ear, "Okay so I was at the bookstore and then" she stops.
"And thennnn" I say, "oh yeah and then guess who I bumped into?!" She says.
"Who?" I ask, "guess" she says, "no I'm not gue-", "just guess!!" She cuts me off again.
"I don't know Teresa?" I guess. "NO SHELLY TORTOLLA!!!!" She screams, "your point is" I say.
"SHE JUST HAPPENS TO BE ONE OF THE BIGGEST ACTRESSES IN THE HISTORY OF ACTING!!" She screams, "okay chill" I laugh.
"ONE DOES NOT CHILL WHEN THEY JUST RAN INTO SHELLY FREAKING TORTOLLA!" She screams, "okay well that's nice to hear" I say.
"Do you not know who she is?" She asks as her voice lowers. I'm kind of scared to say I don't, she'll probably come over and murder me or something.
"I- I've heard of her" I lie.
"No you haven't I'm not stupid" she says and I roll my eyes, "tonight I'm coming over and we're watching every single movie she's in" she says.
"Actually, I'm going out tonight" I say, "WHAT WITH WHO???!" She screams making me jump.
"E- Edmund" I say rubbing my ear, "LIKE THE EDMUND YOU TOLD ME ABOUT!!!?" She asks.
"Y- yes" I say, "I THOUGHT THAT YOU GUYS WERE SEPARATED!" She says.
"I may or may not have bumped into him on campus" I say, "OH MY GOD ADRIANA THAT'S AMAZING!!" She screams.
"Yeah well I gotta go get ready" I say, "Wait but I didn't tell you abo-", "yeah yeah cool bye" I say and hang up.
I sit down on the couch and take a deep breath. How do I even put up with her?
