Chapter Five: Living It Down

So.. Almost three thousand words:O Hehe. So, I'll be updating like once a week.

Reese stared at my blankly. "What did you just say?"

 

I couldn't help but to laugh. "Are you deaf," I teased. "I said you're taking me to dinner."

He shook his head no. I sauntered over to him and gave him a kiss and pulled away from it before it got deeper. I looked up and met his clear blue eyes. "I guess you don't get that anymore."

I turned around and began walking away. I had not even took two steps before Reese grabbed my arm and spun me around. He pulled me close to him and smashed his lips down onto mine. I couldn't help but to smile, ya, this was waaaaay to easy.

I have dated plenty of guys, I knew exactly how to play these games.

"Where are we going?" Reese grumbled.

 

"You act like bringing me out to eat is the worst thing ever. If you don't want to be seen with me then fine but I am not going to be your booty call."

"Alison." He frowned. "That isn't what I meant." He ran his hand through his dark hair. "Of course I want to be seen with you... so where are we eating?"

I grinned, it wasnt going to be that easy. "I don't care."

"Alisooon." 

"Whaaaa," I asked innocently.

 

"This was you're idea..."

 

"Are you always this stubborn?"

 

"Are you," I fired back. I don't know how this was going to work out between us. We are probably the most two stubborn people in the world.

 

"Touché. Let's go then."

I followed Reese outside and over to his house. He opened the door to his Jeep Wrangler and helped me inside before walking around to the other side and getting into the drivers seat.

The car ride was silent. Personally, I thought it was just a tad bit awkward. Obviously Reese didn't.

We drove to the next town over and pulled into a dark parking spot. Before I could even open the door Reese was right there opening it for me. I smiled at him as he held out his hand and helped me out. "Thank you," I said smiling at him.

"Close your eyes," Reese commanded as soon as my feet hit the ground. I looked up at him quizzically. "Just do it." I did as I was told and closed my eyes.

Reese took my hand. "If I fall, you will not here the end of it."

"I won't let you fall." He better not let me fall or so help me God. We walked in silence for several seconds. "Step up in three...two...one... Now."
