Bum bum buuuuummmm!! New chapter!!! Getting a new phone has really put me back in the mood to write. Last week I updated The Escort and The Killer's Daughter and this week I am updating this story! Aren't you excited?! I am. After the cliffhanger and the much needed chapter - here it is.

Alison's POV-

Before my eyes opened, all I heard was trickling water. I was scared to open my eyes, I didn't want to be in that room anymore.

"You can open your eyes child. You are safe here."

The dreamlike voice spoke to me and I slowly opened my eyes. When I opened my eyes the first thing I saw was a shallow stream with water bluer than anything I had ever seen.

"Pretty isn't it?" I jumped at the voice. it seemed like it was coming from right beside me. I turned my head and came face to face with a woman. This woman had golden blonde hair that fell an once above the ground. She had eyes the same clear blue color of the water and her skin looked like it was as clear as a porcelain doll.

"Are you Aritha?"

She nodded her head before standing and extending a hand. I took her hand and expected to be greeted by warmth but her hand was colder than snow. "Walk with me, my child."

I followed her through a forest that seemed to be never ending. The whole time Aritha never spoke. What seemed like hours we arrived to a hill that overlooked a vast and never ending forest. On this hill there was a small temple with a shrine that looked just Aritha standing in front. "This is my temple. My temple holds the knowledge of many centuries. It goes back to the beginning of time." She looked over at me before taking a seat in the grass. She seemed so unworried about staining her white dress. "Now my child, I assume you have some questions. Ask my anything you wish."

I thought for a second. "Who are you?"

"I've told you child, I am Aritha. But that isn't what you meant is it?" I shook my head. "I'm your heritage. Once again, I assume you don't know about your heritage?" Once more I shook my head. "I guess now is as good as any time to tell you who you are."

"I know who I am. I'm Alison Paige Fernheart."

A small whimsical laugh escaped from between her red lips. "No child. That is who you think you are. That is your human name from your human life."

"What do you mean?" I was confused but with all the weirdness I was willing to listen and keep an open mind.

"I guess I should start from the beginning. At the same time humans were created so were many other races. Vampires and witches are some of the more well known races."

"Vampires and witches aren't real. They are just myths and legends."

"Just like any other myth and legend, they must come from somewhere. Each race stuck to themselves." She paused for a split second before continuing on. "I might jump around a bit so just bare with me. As time went on vampires and witches got tired of being secluded from the rest of the world and started venturing out. Vampires and witches started mating with humans and they integrated into their society. Doing that, they chose to live in the shadows. Somewhere down the road, some vampires and witches fell in love. That was forbidden amongst the two races. Nonetheless they did it anyways. Soon they relied they couldn't reproduce - that was a blessing to some and curse to others. Slowly there were stories of some producing offspring. They had the best features and qualities of both races. They were smart, strong, and agile. They were also gifted with powers. This is were seers and dream walkers begin."
